HELLO HIVE

The search for wealth and a good standard of living shouldn't be done at the detriment of our health, the working environment in several countries around the world is so poor that workers no longer care about their health. The working hours in my country is not good at all and you work hard only to be paid a small amount of money compared to the work we've put into it, there is a need for balance between the work input and the payout the workers get at the end of a working period to make sure that workers are motivated to some extent.

Excessive workload drains the body of the required energy to enjoy other activities and it also affects each and every part of our daily routine this excessive workload most times manifest itself as burnouts and sometimes illness, to curb this certain sacrifices have to be made by either the individual or the employer of labour. Companies are found of pushing their workers to the extreme all in the name of meeting big goals over a very short period, goals that can be postponed for the convenience of their workers but because poor labour work force rules in several countries these companies end up getting away with it even though it shouldn't be.

When I saw this post prompt I was so happy because for once I had the opportunity to pour out my mind as regards to this important topic yet it most times look like no one cares to show any kind of concern there is no regulatory laws for workers outside government offices private companies place work hours on their employers according to how the deem fit for their company and not how it fits the employees health and abilities .

How to identify and overcome it

The signs of burnout is different for every individuals and understanding these will help control it, the most common sign is when the body becomes very very weak and when we become mentally exhausted. Physically the body becomes weak, body pain all over and then it becomes difficult to do any form of mental activities because of the level of mental exhaustion. College students working as part time workers at different industries have a hard time studying even if they leave work early because of how exhausted the brain will be at that point there are so many other cases I only made use of college students because it is something I have experience with.

Over coming it has to do with working on job routine from the path of the employer to make things easier for their staff considering their health in this case, compulsory holidays and day off for workers is another way too. As an employer you might think it will reduce the quality of work but no if workers are in a good working environment and their mental health is not tampered with as a result of burnout they tend to have more interest in the work they are doing and that way the quality of the work environment will increase.

Coping mechanism

There are several coping mechanism ranging from day off, taking a nice warm bath after work, not working on empty stomach, making the most of holidays if the opportunity arises spending holidays in the most quality way with loved ones, athletes also use the pool or some times they take ice baths to help them recover I think that's a valid reason have a pool in the house so it can be assessed easily the last one is have quality sleep this is very very important.

We need to watch out for burnouts and care of it like any other medical condition because it is very important.
