Bienvenidos a esta presentación por motivo del concurso organizado por la gente de @TopFiveFamily, y gracias por la foto de @lanzjoseg, que con ella se pudo realizar dicho concurso, espero les guste.
Era una mañana como cualquiera de sábado, me levante temprano como era costumbre mía hacerlo todos los días, fui a la sala a encender la televisión y distraerme un rato viendo deportes, en eso mi esposa me grita de la habitación que si le podía hacer unas arepas, que la habían llamado de emergencia mientras ella se bañaba, ella era enfermera de Hospital central era su día libre también, pero a veces la llamaban si ocurría una emergencia y el hospital colapsaba.
Así que fui hasta la cocina a prepararle un desayuno, me dispuse a preparar la masa, fui hasta la alacena y agarre un paquete de harina Pan blanca, lo abrí con cuidado con una tijera, agarre un bol grande del gabinete y me dispuse a colocarle agua y muy lentamente le fui echando la harina mientras con la otra mano la iba mezclando, luego seguí mezclando hasta forma una mezcla uniforme sin grumos me había quedado muy bien y suave.

It was a morning like any other Saturday morning, I got up early as was my habit to do it every day, I went to the living room to turn on the TV and distract me for a while watching sports, in that my wife shouts me from the room that if I could make some arepas, she had been called in emergency while she was taking a bath, she was a nurse at the central hospital was also her day off, but sometimes she was called if an emergency occurred and the hospital collapsed.
So I went to the kitchen to prepare her breakfast, I prepared the dough, I went to the cupboard and grabbed a package of white Pan flour, I opened it carefully with a scissors, grabbed a large bowl from the cabinet and I decided to put water and very slowly I was pouring the flour while with the other hand I was mixing it, then I continued mixing until a uniform mixture without lumps I had been very well and smooth.
Pero después me puse a pensar que mi esposa no me había dicho que tipo de arepa quería, ella a veces le gustaba asada y otras veces frita, y como el tiempo apremiaba, lo que decidí es hacerle dos una de cada una, agarre el budare pequeño, le puse algo de aceite a su superficie y agarre algo de masa y la puse a moldear hasta que quedo la masa redonda similar a una rueda y la coloque en el budare, luego agarre un sartén le puse aceite y espere a que estuviera caliente e hice el mismo procedimiento anterior y la coloque en el aceite hirviendo.
Cuando los dos estuvieron listos y mi esposa casi estaba vestida, los saque del budare y del sartén, a la arepa frita le quite un tanto el aceite con una servilleta y las coloque juntas las dos en un plato blanco que saque del gabinete de los platos, me sorprendió que haya quedado redondas, así que me dispuse a tomarle una foto para recordar este logro, y lo coloque en mi estado de WhatsApp, luego a un costado del plato le puse la mantequilla y le ralle un poco de queso para esperar que ella bajara a comer.

But then I started to think that my wife had not told me what kind of arepa she wanted, she sometimes liked it roasted and other times fried, and as time was short, I decided to make two of each, I grabbed the small budare, I put some oil on its surface and grabbed some dough and put it to mold until it was a round dough similar to a wheel and put it in the budare, then I grabbed a frying pan and put oil in it and waited until it was hot and did the same procedure above and put it in the boiling oil.
When the two were ready and my wife was almost dressed, I took them out of the budare and the frying pan, I removed some of the oil from the fried arepa with a napkin and placed them together on a white plate that I took out of the cabinet of the dishes, I was surprised that they were round, so I took a picture to remember this achievement, and put it in my WhatsApp status, then on one side of the plate I put the butter and grated some cheese to wait for her to come down to eat.
