The highlight of this Guild Play was getting a level 2 GF Orella Abadon after opening one Gladius case. I've not gotten any gold foil in a long while now and it was quite a good feeling that I finally got this one. It's quite a pacy card, and in an equalizer ruleset, the bloodlust can activate quickly. It's sneaky, quite useful for low Mana games and most of the time, using the single BCX of this card hasn't disappointed me in any way.
Of Course, Orella is a rare Gladius card and this means that this card is worth an exchangeable 2K DEC. I'm guessing that if it was an epic, it would have been 10k DEC. I got one epic GF Gladius card some months ago and I burned it to buy some rebellion pack. That's how lucky you can get when opening a Gladius case.
However, it's a stroke of rare luck, you might have to constantly open Gladius cases and wait for 2 years before you can get a GFL that'll be worth 50k DEC and it might take longer or relatively shorter for some other people. However, it's always a delight to get a gold foil whether it's legendary or not, and especially if it's exchangeable for DEC.
This time around in my Guild, I played five games won 3, and lost five. I think my Guild members played fewer games too. Most of us played five games and at the end of the day. We each get just over 22 SPS, and this time the haul was very good. There wasn't a lot of loss and I think the members turned up pretty good. I was actually going to win all five of my games, but one of the opponents turned up with this level thorny summoner and even if I had a summoner that was much higher, the ruleset worked against me and the opponent nicked a victory.
The second loss was also narrow. The opponent squeezed a victory with some really pacy cards, and even when I had the confidence that I was going to win, I lost it at the end. However, I went on to win two games and the last opponent fled the battle. I've always had the advantage of one or two opponents fleeing the battle in many games I've registered, and this one was one of them.
6K Staked SPS
Also, I've finally hit 6K SPS, and playing the Guild has helped me. I haven't paid attention to growing my SPS. A lot has happened in my life and playing Splinterlands is one of those ways I unwind and relieve stress, but the resources aren't also there. I've been spending a lot of money on numerous doctor's appointments and consultations, tests, and a lot of things and it's not ended, and all to no avail too.
Sparing some money to buy SPS hasn't happened for me, so I've just resorted to depending on the delegations I have as well as my SPS too. I'll keep staking my rewards for ranked battles as well as keep staking my SPS reward for the Guild participation as well.
