I was listening to our pastor's sermon today, and he talked about having a new heart, one that is free of feelings and emotions and devoted to God. As a Christian this is where people tend to struggle a lot; feelings.
A person may be experiencing spiritual growth in their life, but it will be difficult for them to let go of old emotions that keep them sad, angry, or feeling offended or betrayed.
In life, people will be hurt by others, either intentionally or unintentionally, and we will sometimes nurse these feelings even after convincing ourselves that they are no longer there.
It is easy to harbor malice and offense, which causes us to act in accordance with our emotions rather than acting clearly. This is why people can forgive but never forget. However, the burden of not forgetting is where the real problem lies.
We cannot forget, so we will always harbor discontent, which is difficult to overcome even when we find God.
It was the third time I had heard a sermon like that in three days, and I had an inner conviction that it was intended for me.
I have been on my journey to know God, and I am proud of how far I have come, but I will not lie: I have been harboring a lot of resentment, bitterness, disappointment, and pain in my heart, and it is been difficult to be free of all of these feelings no matter how much I have prayed, but hearing all of these sermons made me realize that I needed to try harder and trust God to make a difference in my life.
Although I cannot do it, I can only pray for grace and make more effort, because I believe that without discipline and effort, God may not see our efforts, and most of the time, efforts and discipline are required to follow the ways of the scriptures and God.
Crypto
So, how does this relate to crypto? Feelings.
We all know that crypto is an emotional game. Sometimes the greed, fear, and anxiety that accompany it prevent us from making decisions free of previous experiences or emotions.
For example, almost everyone is working hard not to repeat the mistakes they made in 2021, which included not taking enough profit or sleeping on too much profit when they should have exited, and they will be heading into 2025 with these concerns in the back of their minds.
Being unable to forget 2021 is one of the reasons why people make mistakes they did not intend to make. The obvious mistake that year was not taking enough profit, but no one can predict the type of mistake that will be unique to 2025.
I am not saying that people are expected to make perfect decisions, but the market will still do its thing, and many will lose because they try to do too much.
This is one of the most delicate times in crypto, and people will make decisions from a variety of perspectives. This is a delicate time because people are getting a sense of what will happen in 2025, and some coins or projects are still flat, while others are pumping hard.
Overall, today is a good day for cryptocurrency in general, and believe me, even those who promise not to be greedy when necessary will find themselves breaking those promises.
Sentiments make it difficult to actually make logical decisions; when we fail to be devoid of emotions, we cannot have the clarity to be ruthless.
Crypto Twitter is buzzing because BTC has finally reached 80K. To be honest, I did not expect it to happen so quickly. Nevertheless, here we are. Alts are starting to respond, though only slightly.
However, being overly bullish when many were bearish only a few days ago demonstrates how quickly people's emotions can swing from one extreme to another.
Sentiment is high, and BTC continues to rise, and most people would not approach their strategy with a clear mind, so it would be interesting to see how people react to these pumps and how they will affect alts along the way.
