It is the end of another splinterlands season, and I finished in Diamond 3 just like two seasons ago, but I finished much better; if I had played about 4 to 8 more games, I could have finished in Diamond 2, but I was on a losing streak and it did not make sense to gamble more energy.
I actually wanted to get some energy, but you can no longer use vouchers to get energy on splinterlands, as this change was recently implemented.
So, even though I finished nicely in diamond 3, I lost a lot of games in the middle of the season and received less Glint than the previous season.
My SPS earnings have increased, thanks to @aftersound, who increased his SPS delegations to me, and by the end of the season, I had earned 1.4 SPS max for my best wins.
The MANA WARDEN
I did something interesting near the end of the season. Because I could not buy energy with the voucher I had, I decided to purchase the MANA WARDEN, a reward card with approximately 40 vouchers.
Although there is nothing particularly special about this, I believe it makes sense to use my voucher and possibly obtain this card, which could be useful in some Rulesets; it is not like I am paying out of pocket, and I believe it is a no-brainer even if it is only one BCX.
Once again, I ignored the *LEGENDARY section of the soulbound reward cards because I believe the epic set is superior.
Although you would have thought I went for a dozen of them, I only got three because I needed to buy other things as well. Common cards were important because they allowed you to spend less money and purchase more cards with good and decent abilities.
So I believe that area is a top priority. Imagine Olivia as part of the epic set. I was hoping to be lucky and get one again this time, but I was extremely unlucky and did not get it. But I did get some good cards that blew my mind.
The HALFING REFUGEE and ARCHNE WEAVER are incredible cards; I tested the former in one game and it was a beast. I believe that if you have less Glint, you will do better with epic cards. They are more versatile, less expensive, and can compete with the Legendaries.
I bought a lot of common cards and received some regular gold cards, but nothing particularly exciting; however, they are squad cards, which comes in handy. I did not take pictures, but that is because the three most important were the epic cards, and this teaches me to devote more Glints to epic cards the next time.
The stronger your cards, the more battles you can win, resulting in higher real dollar value SPS rewards. Because SPS is the only dollar-value reward, you must strive to earn it by building a better deck.
So I gambled with a few minor chests, which were not particularly exciting. I expected it, but I had itchy fingers and used up some of my Glints.
Gladius Cases
So I purchased some Gladius cases and, once again, the opening was terrible. There is nothing exciting except the CONTUMA.
The only positive were the EPIC cards I received, and since I have been receiving epic sets, I have not received a bad card; this seems reasonable given the amount of Glint I have, which leaves no room for mistakes or gambles. I hope to get a better Glint reward this time around.
