Bean Soup recipe

Greetings ppl, today I bring a recipe for beans, here we have a fairly large variety of beans and this one that I am going to prepare today here is called black eyed bean, it has a very rich flavor, it seems very strange to me that my cousin has not tried it because they were quite common in our country of origin, I wanted to make a dish for her to try, so I decided to make a soup.

For this we are going to need to leave our beans soaking the night before, this will facilitate cooking the next day, when we place them in the kitchen, we are going to wait 15 minutes of cooking and add a little salt, potato and carrots, we will let them cook until are very soft.

Saludos a todos, hoy traiga una receta de frijoles, aquí tenemos una variedad bastante grande de frijoles y este que voy a preparar hoy aquí se llama frijol pico negro, tiene un sabor muy rico, me parece muy extraño que mi prima no lo haya probado, porque en nuestro país de origen eran bastante comunes, quise hacer un platillo para que ella probara, entonces decidí hacer una sopa.

Para esto vamos a necesitar dejar nuestro frijoles remojando la noche anterior, esto facilitará la cocción al día siguiente, cuando los colocamos en la cocina, vamos a esperar 15 minutos de cocción y agregamos un poco de sal, papa y zanahorias, dejaremos cocinar hasta que estén bien blandos.

Now we are going to make a stew and for this we are going to need to put oil in a small pot and when it is very hot add 1 onion, a little diced red paprika, ground garlic, chives, parsley, finally as an improvised touch I wanted to add a touch of concentrated tomato puree.

Ahora vamos a hacer un guiso y para ello vamos a necesitar poner en una olla pequeña aceite y cuando esté bien caliente añadimos 1 cebolla, un poquito de pimentón rojo en cuadritos, ajo molido, cebollín, perejil, por último como toque improvisado quise añadir un toque de puré concentrado de tomate.

I added this to the beans and they changed color and flavor, you can check at this point if the beans are well salted, and you can also add chopped coriander when removing it from cooking.

Esto se lo añadí a los frijoles y cambiaron de color y de sabor, puedes verificar en este punto si los frijoles están bien de sal, y también puedes añadir cilantro picado al retirarlo de la cocción.

Finally, we had a very ripe plantain, it was something that if we didn't eat it today it could go to waste, so we cut it up and fried it.

Por último, teníamos un plátano muy maduro, era algo de que si no lo comíamos hoy se podría desperdiciar, así que lo cortamos y lo freímos.

I also had rice in the fridge and I used this to accompany our table, everything was very tasty.

También tenía arroz en la nevera y esto lo utilicé para acompañar nuestra mesa, todo quedó muy rico.

I'm little picky and I like to eat something different every day, and I was a restaurant owner, lol.

Wao, same here also but the problem I always have is not being able to cook what I wish to eat everyday,It bothers me alot. Ohhh! That makes a complete sense to me now😀😀😀. Why did you stop you resuturant???

I had a problem with my business partner, so I didn't wanted to continue with tha. It is hard and stressing, if you are gonna stress do it for your business but not for other ppl 🤡

Right now in this country I don't feel like it! I don't like ppl 😵
