Good afternoon beloved family. How are you people doing today? I hope you're all doing great. As for me, I'm good just as you are.
I want to officially welcome everyone to my blog. Once again, you're welcome.
It's my first time posting in the Thoughtful Daily Post community, and I hope I'm welcomed by everyone.
I've been on Hiveblock chain for some months now, but I didn't discover this unique community. But, I'm glad that today, I' 've come to know about this community.
I will be sharing my thoughts on what I title better days ahead. This is something I've been planning to write on, but time was not really on my side.
I didn't feel bad because I couldn't share it with you. I knew a day like this would come, and finally, I'm doing what I was supposed to do now.
I grew up in a family where life seemed to be so difficult. When I say difficult, I mean what I'm saying.
It wasn't easy when I was born.
I came to understand that, we don't have a single graduate in our family. Some of my cousins who attempted to go to higher institutions ended up returning to the house empty-handed because of finances.
Growing up with this mindset has affected my life negatively. I always thought of so many things.
Honestly, I have uncles and aunts who would have been of help to me, but each time I approached them to seek their assistance, they seemed to be less concerned. So, I decided to move on with my life.
I happen to attend a program somewhere. It was a Christian gathering. The preacher was talking about fear, and I was touched by his message.
When I returned home, I prayed to God. I made my petition known to him. I told him, my tomorrow must be greater than what I'm currently facing.
I prayed with a broken heart. I was so depressed, but then, I was consoled by the word of God that I heard during the gathering.
One day, I started saying to myself, Child of God, you have nothing to worry about because better days are ahead of you. I said that authoritatively.
The fear of stopping my education halfway left me instantly. I began to see a new version of me evolving.
I took a bold step. I wrote jamb, I scored so high, and fortunately for me, I got admitted. I began the journey just as other students did.
But today, I can tell you that from what I'm seeing, I'm well assured that better days are ahead of me. It has started already, and some people have started seeing it.
It's always good to speak positively about
the future. We must be optimistic in every day of our lives.
Remember, there's power in our tongue. I spoke just a word, and the effect of that word is already in action, and I enjoy it.
Thank you for visiting my blog.
I love you all.
I remain your favorite girl @joyben.
