Hello, good evening everyone. How are you doing this evening?
It's my pleasure to be a part of this Home Edders community. From the way I'm seeing this community, it's a nice community.
It's my very first time posting in this community, and I hope I'm welcome in this community.
I want to share my today's work with you. Since when I was born, I've developed this habit of teaching my colleagues in school.
It's something that gives me joy, each time I see myself doing that. I guess it's a calling. And I'm always satisfied each time I solve other people's problems. Solving people's problems is the best gift I could offer to people around me.

So earlier this morning, I decided to teach my best friend. He was so excited that I wanted to teach him. We prayed before we began the class.
I invited him to my house, and he came. We had a great moment together. I was able to teach him syntax. Both of us are in the Department of Linguistics And Nigerian Languages at the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
Syntax happens to be my favorite course. The topic I shared with him was Mental Grammar. I was able to tell him what mental grammar was all about.

It involves how a child acquires his or her native language, and how he or she could interpret what he or she has heard so far.
I went further to teach him, all the constituents which made up a syntactic tree. These are Nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, prepositions, etc.

I took the time to explain everything to him. He also asked me many questions that were bothering him concerning the course. I was able to give him a satisfactory response. With the help of God, I was able to give him the best tuition so far.
I'm not the best, but I'm trying to be perfect at what I do. We spent a lot of time studying our books, and we also tried to solve some problems in Syntax.
It was a great one indeed, and I was glad I didn't miss such a great opportunity because it is helping me do what I feel is good for me. So that when I finally decide to be a professional in that field of study, I won't mess up.
The photos you see here were the photos we took while enrolling in that interactive class.
Thank you for reading through my post.
I remain your favorite girl @joyben.
