Hello hivers! Trust we are doing well.
It's a cold and raining morning on my end, so I decided to bless your eyes and mind with this. Kindly feed your eyes with this ambience.
It was close to a friend's wedding and I was going to be his guest. So I decided to make him a present to enable him cut some cost and having to buy a new shoe for his wedding ,since everyone desired to buy new things ahead of their wedding ceremony.
I had informed him earlier about it so that he won't go ahead to spending on another product and brand. Moreso, he stays in another state different from where I reside and do my work but I was going to arrive at the wedding location earlier, so there wasn't any fear of been disappointed by a client.
What about his shoe size?
We had stayed together for a couple of years, I got to know his shoe size that way. As a matter of fact, we both use the same size. So, there wasn't any cause for alarm.
MATERIALS USED
- brown thick leather for top and lining
- sole wet
- eyelet
- shoe lace
- chewing gum sole(polymer)
- fiber
- lasting spincer
- eyelet plier
- punches
COUPLING PROCESS
The first thing I did after buying all necessary material was to cut out the design of the shoe from a template
After this, I then rub gum on the top leather and the lining and thereafter gummed them together, then cut it out. The essence of the lining is to reinforce the entire shoe for durability.
After this I sew the back part with a designer machine before attaching and sewing it to the front part.
After the whole thing is done and the skeleton of the shoe was ready, I then last it using the lasting spincer and the last
The result of the lasting is what you see below
After this I attached the lasted top to the sole I had made and it came out this way
Since the shoe was my size , I decided to have the first taste of it by wearing it to see how it really looks on the feet. See what I saw.
This was what I delivered to my friend and he was so surprised when he saw it. It's an ankle boot and this was above the ankle which was what he loves wearing.
He really rocked it, flagging it as if it was a wouldwide branded shoe, but I was happy anyways because his flag brought me more sales.
Take a good look at the shoe on the two legs.
Thank you for taking your time to read this.
Have a productive weekend ahead.
