That excitement when you join a family
It's so amazing to be here and be part of this great community. I am so excited right now having understood the purpose and interaction of the community in that it enables me to meet people from different and every nook and cranny of the globe. Not only that, the excitement agravates, knowing that I will be able to share my mind, opinions, stories and passion with people accross the world enabling them learn and aslo learning from them- their experiences, passion and interests.
Yeah.....
I should talk about myself a little bit......
I am BAMIDELE EMMANUEL OLUWASEYI by name. I am member of a family of eleven (lol). Please don't ask how? It's simply an old system or ancient lifestyle prevailing then and even now in many parts of Africa. But I'm very glad that I'm a part of such a closed to dozen siblings, I derive joy thinking about them all. Anyways, that's just by the way. Interestingly, I am the last of all of them.
Hmmmm..... What about growing up ?
My parents were subsistence farmers, who only lived an average life style in terms of finances and educational exposure and were both conglomerates in the same farm in an Hamlet in one of the states in Nigeria, Ekiti State to be precise. It's in this Hamlet that I was born and bred until I was about the age of seven and without any form of formal education.
Do you know what? This Hamlet contained only twelve mud houses and was surrounded by rivers and fertile lands for agricultural purposes which was the dwellers major occupation including my parents . But it's really enjoyable been a product of such an humbled location.
At about the age of seven, one of my siblings requested that I follow to live with him in the northern part of Nigeria, Zaria, which my parents consented to of which I immediately left with him. That was the beginning of excellence in academics for me seeing I was enrolled into a school immediately I got to the north and in no time blended even though I hadn't attended any school until then.
I do not consider growing up a challenge as such despite been from an humbled disposition. I thought it all to be a lesson for a future excellence in excelling.
To cut the long story short, I completed my primary school, high school and today I am a graduate of two higher institutions in Nigeria.
My academic achievements
I am a graduate of The Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria: where I banged the first degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in the year 2017. Prior to this time, I had attended a Federal Polytechnic in one of the North Central State of Nigeria, Niger State to be precised. Here , I also studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering and graduated in the year 2012.
What about my passion?
Little of my passion
During my service year ( a one year program for graduates in my country, Nigeria ), towards the concluding months, I decided to enrol into a fashion scheme/ school where I learnt how to build foot wears and other leather works. I major on cover shoes such as - brogues, ankle boots, mocassin, loofers, sneakers, and such like that. Those products aren't my only interest anyways, I also do a whole lot of easy wears and sandals and this for male and female, that makes me diversified in my enterpreneural disposition and I'm striving for excellence in that area of my life.
Teaching got interesting
I am also a life coach, that is, a teacher. I mingle a lot with little children from the age two upward. This account for children just starting school or say- pre-school pupil. Not only that, I am an high school tutor. I am very proficient in handling the sciences especially physics and mathematics. These involvement qualifies me for excellence in the pre-university educational system and had led to my venturing into establishing a primary school in my country. So , I can actually say that I am a C.E.O of a school and as well that of a shoe company.
Any hobby? Yes!
I cannot forget these, I am damn a serious lover of music. I write songs, mostly in the gospel genres. I am also a damn pro in cooking. I make delicacies of different recipes especially the African dish . I'd be sharing all of these with us here at intervals.
I would be sharing here the things that I am actively involved in with people in this community in order to dispense a knowledge, idea and to learn in return. I trust that I am allowed to share my contents here.
I won't forget this, all thanks to @vickoly for introducing me to this community. In my first meeting with him , after many hours of interacting, he solemnly whispered- you can actually be part of this community and I immediately listened to a little about the platform and concluded that it was worth joining. Here I am today on the platform because of that single interaction. I cannot thank him less.
Conclusively, even though I'm still here, I hope that we all be around ourselves. I will be sharing different contents here and since this community, hive, affords me such sharing and also getting a return in return, I believe that been here is going to change my life in learning different things, about places and skills. So, I am going no where. I also desire to make hive known to as many as possible the very moment I get acquainted and familiar here.
This would be inconclusive if I do not appreciate you for reading this about me this first time been here with a post. You are the best reader , believe you me, like one of my University lecturer always said back then in school. Anyways, THANKS FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO READ THIS....
