The wildlife photographer had spent a long day capturing the beauty of the African savannah. Exhausted, he decided to rest under the shade of a large baobab tree.

The heat of the sun faded and, within minutes, he fell asleep.

When he awoke, the evening light illuminated the landscape, and he felt an unusual weight on his arm.

Opening his eyes slowly, he found himself face to face with a cheetah resting peacefully on him.

His heart stopped for a moment. He knew he should remain motionless, but adrenaline coursed through his veins.

The cheetah, oblivious to his presence, continued to sleep. The photographer held his breath, feeling the warmth of the animal's body and the latent danger at every second.

What if the feline woke up and saw him as a threat? The tension in the air was palpable.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the cheetah stretched and stood up, looking at him curiously before walking away.

The man exhaled, relieved, but an unsettling feeling came over him. In the distance, a roar echoed, reminding him that in the savannah, calm can be only a whisper before the storm.
