Hello, HIVE!
I'm back to creating food-related posts after laying low for a while. Time freed up for me so I can dive in and share some of the food that I am cooking up in my kitchen.
For today's pantry clearing recipe, I discovered that I had some green beans (Baguio beans here in the PH) and a pack of vegetarian "giniling" in the freezer so it was an easy decision to make. Vegetarian giniling was a household favorite that my mom used to cook for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed, and I'd like to recreate in this blog post.
Ingredients
The ingredients include: 1 medium tomato, about 150 grams of green beans, and 100 grams of Veega meat-free giniling, 2 tablespoons of coconut oil, 1/4 cup vegetable broth, and salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking
1.Wash and cut the ingredients.
2.Heat the oil in a pan and stir-fry the tomato in medium heat for around 20 seconds.
3.Adjust the fire to low, then put in the Veega meat-free giniling.
4.After 1 minute, add in the green beans and continue stir-frying.
5.Put in the cover for a while, then pour in the vegetable stock. Stir a little, then cover again.
6.Add a dash of salt and pepper to your desired flavor for taste.
7.Serve immediately with hot steamed rice and enjoy your meal.

Cooking these kinds of #vegetarian dishes is simple and fun to do. It can be a quick and easy activity for those who are busy with work and other stuff that's going on in their lives but it can also be a long and elaborate process with many ingredients and spices added on to complement the food flavors and improve the texture of the food.
In the end, we get to enjoy good, delicious food, bond with family and friends, and share the aroma and flavors.
That's it for today's #foodie post. Thanks for dropping by and reading up to here.
Have a great day ahead. Love and peace!
