HOW I MET MY CATS ~ | PAWS & CLAWS CHALLENGE #126

Last November, a cat gave birth in one of the empty rooms in our house. The room had an open window, so I assumed she entered through there. The family didn't know she was living there, but I noticed she would come and go from the house, asking for food, which I happily provided. I decided to befriend her and was surprised that she let me pat her head despite some cats not liking to be petted. Later, I found out that she had two babies, and I also noticed that her ear was cut. I'm not sure what happened, but I'm guessing she got into a fight with a dog or was injured by some bad kids in our neighborhood.

I decided to adopt them, although my parents were against it. I said I'll take care of them, so I bought a cage for the little kittens. I named the mother Minggay then her babies yin and yang.

I adopted another cat last January from a friend because they were planning to throw him away. I said I'll just adopt him, and when he was finally given to me, I named him Ace.

During our initial meeting, he appeared at ease in my company. He is incredibly affectionate and simply wants to be by my side constantly.

I have to keep ace inside the room because minggay isn't friendly with him. She gets mad every time ace comes close to her.

I usually let Ace go outside whenever I go out, and I've noticed that he gets along well with Minggay already. It seems like Minggay no longer hates him. Ace is really playful and outgoing he's quite the extrovert. On the other hand, my other two kittens, Yin and Yang, are introverts. They don't meow loudly like Ace does when he needs something. Ace is always the one to initiate playtime with them.

I find it funny that they still breastfeed even though I give them cat food. It's amusing to see Ace feeding on Minggay, even though she's not his real mother. Minggay is so kind to let Ace feed on her.

also the black cat I named yang didn't survive and died :( so its yin and ace are left with me.

So, when I got back from vacation, I realized that Minggay was nowhere to be found. I got pretty worried and asked Yin to call Minggay his mother. My friend Hiddi had told me about a trick to find a lost cat by asking around about its appearance. Two days later, Minggay showed up at my place, and I was so relieved to see that she was okay. I think she must have gone back to her owner since she seemed healthy.

yin peacefully sleeping till ace saw him and then joined in, I love how close they are with each other.

Whenever I'm outside, Ace always follows me around. She lies down to wait for me to finish what I'm doing, while Yin just sleeps in his usual area.

And that's how I became a fur parent.
