The Tucker-Putin interview - The meeting of two legends

in #hive-1503299 months ago

Love them or hate them, these two men are indeed Legends in their own lifetime.

There are few who can say that they are as well known and famous - or perhaps infamous - while still alive. Both Tucker Carlson and president Vladimir Putin are both equally famous. It would be difficult for me to choose out of the two, who was the most famous.

Of course President Putin has been around in the public eye perhaps longer than journalist Tucker Carlson. And the president carries far more responsibility. Nevertheless, both of these two men have achieved legendary status for totally different reasons.

And in the past 24 hours they have met in Moscow for the interview of the decade, to put it my mildly. I will personally refrain from making any moral judgment regarding the strength of weakness of either man, as far as character goes. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion based on their subjective viewpoint of the facts and impressions around them.

And not all of what we read is factual, as we all know by now. In this post-truth era it is impossible to discern fact from fiction, particularly for us masses who are obliged to rely on the questionable mainstream Media, or whatever other independent Media we may have discovered.

When Tucker was fired from Fox media company, he became an independent entity and actually appears to have become even more famous as a result. Simultaneously Fox media company has lost some of its former glory and following since then.

Social media is aflame with likes and dislikes regarding the interview between Tucker and president Vladimir Putin. Especially now on the brink of World War 3, as NATO provokes Russia and the Russian people at the border of Ukraine. Some are applauding Tucker for conducting this interview with the so-called Enemy of the West, since it allows for open debate rather than blind violence.

However there are also others who are calling Tucker treasonous for this kind of publicity that he is giving to President Putin. And then there are those who are praising platforms like ☓ who have facilitated and published the interview for all to hear.

Simultaneously there are those who are less appreciative of the role ☓ has played in publicizing this free speech information. This interview is almost as polarizing as the current USA elections. Perhaps it is even more so because it involves multiple countries and perhaps the entire planet compared to America's internal civil polarization.

All I can do is observe from my remote position on the southernmost shores of the African continent stuck somewhere between the USA and Russia, like a "ball kid" at a tennis match, watching the missiles go left and right, right and left continuously from one side to the other.

Certainly this is an entertaining distraction to take the mind away from other pressing needs and challenges like the economy and finance, political destabilization and potential Civil War, as well as the future of food or lack thereof, as well as potential energy supply or lack, as we see here in my nation of South Africa.

Anyone can go and watch or listen to the entire Tucker - Putin debate and make up their own minds, having been at least informed about further details regarding global affairs.

Symbolically speaking President Putin reminds me of the sun, while Tucker Carlson is like Mercury the wingard messenger. Any leader of a nation might be symbolized by the Sun planet and a journalist such as Tucker who's able to travel between realms, going to heaven as well as hell freely without interception, reminds me of the Mercury archetype from ancient Greek and Roman mythology.

Here today in this interview we had the meeting of the Sun and Mercury for some fresh insight (or propaganda) on what is going on upon our small planet that we call home.

Putin reminds you of the sun? You are totally crazy.

All I can do is observe from my remote position on the southernmost shores of the African continent stuck somewhere between the USA and Russia, like a "ball kid" at a tennis match, watching the missiles go left and right, right and left continuously from one side to the other.

I wish you could know one day what it is literally when missiles of your "sun" go above you and hit near you.

We're all sick in the head hey?

I wish you could know one day what it is literally when missiles of your "sun" go above you and hit near you.

Why would you wish such a thing on this man? Because his point of view differs from yours?

This person supports a dictator who wants to destroy an entire country, an entire nation. In essence, you are supporting a modern-day Hitler. And I belong to a nation that Putin wants to destroy.

You believe lies, support lies and spread lies. Maybe unintentionally, but have you done enough to find out the truth? The price of your mistake is too high.

Your assertion is erroneous
No one intends to destroy our nation.
They'll beat a little Nazism out of our heads and calm down.
I recommend that you watch the whole interview more carefully

No one intends to destroy our nation.

Your nation - no. My nation - yes. I don't need to watch the interview, I know what I see with my own eyes, what is happening in Ukraine. How did you make your opinion? Just listening to Putin's interviews? Reading Russian news? I mean I really can't understand WHAT MAKES YOU SO SURE?

Я I remember the exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar before Maidan and I see what happened now. I am not satisfied with it!
I remember the prices for utilities and groceries. They were much more affordable.
I remember that before we announced our intention to join nato and started calling for slaughtering Muskals we did not have a war, but instead we had Crimea!

You are afraid to watch this interview because it threatens your fictional worldview. But this interview was not for the Banderites, it was an answer to the questions of the western world about the reasons for this situation.

Stay away from military installations and keep your fingers crossed that our air defense doesn't turn out to be Soviet.

Don't dig a hole for someone else and you won't fall in it!
Peaceful skies above your head!

Poor thing...

But there's not much you can say against it.

Good, unbiased review. Thank`s!
