Hello everybody,
Last night when I cleaned up my gallery I came across my pictures when we were still living in Olongapo City. As you may know, we lived there for 23 long years, I considered our 2nd home. I missed much my friends especially Alice. I can't forget my debt of gratitute to her. She was 10 yrs older than me and we have the same hobbies, crocheting. But, when I met here that time she have eye problem so she just ordered from me crocheted bags, shawl, socks and many more. She also gave me lots, lots of yarns and crocheted books/magazines.
In 2008, my mother was stroked, I need to take care for her. I looked for a rented house that was just near the hospital. Timely, Alice next neighbor have a vacant space. So, we became neighbors. She was so generous. When she cooked especially soup, she gave my mother always.
One day, after hubby was paid in one of his soil test project, we treated her. I invited her for a snacks. She guided us where to. She brought us to Yena's Kitchen just a small refreshment parlor that served yummy Tacos.
True, their tacos was indeed delicious.
The place is just near Jollibee Rotunda.
This tall building was hubby's soil test project.
After eating we strolled to the park just near the Olongapo Public Market because Alice must buy food stuff. We strolled along this side walk.
Then, to the park near Olongapo City Hall.
All of these I really really missed it.
I also found this picture of me, at Subic Bay Freeport Zone the former US Base. I posed when the US ship dock at the pier.
Recalling the past really makemesmile.
Thank you @tattoodjay for your WednesdayWalk in awesome collaboration with @elizacheng makemesmile.
