Hello everyone, Justine here and today I thought I’d introduce you to all of my crazy cats. I have 8 of the crazy felines running around here and I’m sure they’d appreciate the attention as this crazy cat lady has been moaning at them a bit too much lately.
Puzzles:
This madam is as street and ghetto as they come. We rescued her from a factory out in Atlantis before Katalina was born and is the oldest Madam at 10 years old now. She has the most insane and annoying meow. Seriously, when she meows in the morning to be let into the house it sounds like someone is pulling her by the tail.
Ninja:
This is the main man around here and always makes sure that all these crazy ladies are well protected. Shame he’s had his hands full over the last few years and rightfully has recently taken to hiding in the roof most of the time. I call it his bachelor pad. Pica and Ivar, my sausage dogs are petrified of him and always walk very cautiously past him. It doesn’t help that he has a habit of swiping them on the bum when they turn their backs to him hahahaha.
Princess Amber:
The darling in the family and trust me she knows it as well. This Queen can be found lounging around inside most of the time while one her princesses or princes attend to grooming her. Yip, she had three litters before I managed to get her sorted out. Seems being inside didn’t stop the neighborhood felines from courting this, Queen.
Juggles, Niteshade, Daenarys & Kayla (The Royal Litter)
This was the first litter and yes, I couldn’t give them away. I convinced the family that you can never have too many cats and 2020 being what it was we decided to keep them. Watching them grow up from birth has been a beautiful experience that I will never forget. As with most cats they each have their own personality.
Juggles is the clutz of the bunch, seriously I’ve never seen such an uncoordinated cat in my life. Kayla is the biggest girl and thinks she is a dog, so you’ll normally find her with the canines.
Niteshade is the sweetest boy and generally sleeps with Soren. He hates Deepheat and has an obsessive licking disorder so is currently bald in some places. Daenarys is just as sweet and tends to keep to herself most of the time.
These two are the only ones that are allowed to stay in the house during the day as they are the only ones who can be trusted not to cause havoc hahahaha.
The rest get herded into the garage every morning with the older two on watch duty in the front most of the day. Yes, you can herd cats, it turns out.
Han Solo (The Solo Litter)
This boy came as a surprise to all of us 6 months after the other litter was born. I was sitting drinking my coffee one morning and as Princess Amber jumped up to get to her food he just slipped out. I jumped up screaming as I had no idea what it was that fell at my feet. Shame he was all on his own and Princess Amber was convinced that she did not give birth to him. So much so that she hid him outside under a rock. We discovered him the next day and I was like; no ways are we giving him away. He’s a fighter and he’s lucky. To this day he follows me around the house meowing at me if he needs anything. Even pushes the bathroom door open while I’m in the shower to complain to me hahahaha.
So, there you have it. All 8 of them introduced. It does get a little crazy at times, but watching the family dynamic unfold before my eyes over the last few years has been very special to watch and a source of much laughter and entertainment for us all.
