Reflecting the situation of the country.

My country is in absolute crisis at the moment , the price of goods and prices have been hectic and nothing to write home about.

Honestly , if I had enough resources and opportunity to leave the country at any point in time then I won't think twice before making that choice.

I just can't imagine giving birth to my children in this country and that's why I am determined and i will make sure I hustle and work hard, in order to raise more money that could take care of me and now and my future .

Just yesterday, i visited the Institute i was training to gain more knowledge on livestock farming, I finished working at the rabittary and we where asked to have a class. On getting to the class, the man said he isn't in the mood to teach us and we should be heading home. I noticed this was because he hasn't been paid about three months salary by the government and they are really contemplating on going on strike and stay away from work for months until they get paid. This made me think and question myself "where are we going in this country??.

Alot of things has changed and the current president hasn't even spent up to 2 years. I was fund of eating thrice a day with ease before, but now I can hardly eat a proper meal twice a day because the price of things just keep going up every day. You can go to the market and buy one pack of spaghetti yesterday at the price of 1.5$ and you will go the next day and buy it at 1.7$.

Some Nigerians might believe this country is getting better any time soon but as for me , that's just a dream that might never come true . We can't get out of this mess we are in , unless we recycle all the old and corrupt people we have in the various arms of government which might not be possible.

We claim there is democratic government in Nigeria, but we Nigerians don't even have a say in the affairs of the country .Even though we make effort and try to voice out and protest, we would still get silenced by this government individuals. This is just like an autocratic government to me because our voices are not even heard.

I just seem to pity those who couldn't even feed more than once in a day before this new regime of government , because i can feel their pain and i know it must be really tough on them. I promise I won't be suprised if the level of kidnapping , stealing and other various crimes increases in the country overtime, because people are really starving and suffering.

The number of beggers in the street are increasing everyday when even those they are begging alms from are not even okay enough to fend for themselves. Sometimes, I see an old woman who is hungry , kneeling down to beg for money from a boy she is old enough to be his grandmother and tears will just roll over my eyes. I feel so much grieve and pain each day I spend in this country.

It saddens me to say this , but I just have to write how deeply i feel into words. I know alot of Nigerians are praying everyday for this country to get better, and i seriously hope their prayers get answered.

Thanks for reading.
