GREETINGS, HIVERS!

fellow Hivers! I’m excited to share my adventure to Trithan Valley, a hidden gem in the Himalayas. This trip was a spontaneous escape with my college friends, filled with breathtaking views, serene lakes, and ancient temples. Let’s dive into the details of this unforgettable journey.

WHY TRITHAN VALLEY?

Our journey began with an Instagram scroll. Stunning pictures of Trithan Valley’s pristine beauty captivated us. Without much hesitation, we decided to make it our weekend getaway. Nestled in Himachal Pradesh, Trithan Valley promised an escape into nature’s lap, away from the bustling city life.

JOURNEY BEGINS

We set off from Solan, taking a scenic route towards Kullu. Our first stop was Jibhi, a small village known for its tranquility and lush green landscapes. We reached Jibhi by evening and decided to stay the night. The rustic charm of our homestay and the soothing sounds of the river nearby set a perfect tone for the adventures ahead.

JIBHI WATERFALL : MINI THAILAND OF HIMACHAL

The next morning, we were eager to explore the Jibhi Waterfall, often referred to as Mini Thailand. The short trek to the waterfall was through a dense forest, with the sound of falling water guiding our way. The sight of the waterfall was mesmerizing, and we couldn’t resist taking a dip in the chilly waters. It was a refreshing start to our day, surrounded by nature’s grandeur.

EXPLORING BALO TEMPLE

After spending a few hours at the waterfall, we hiked towards the Balo Temple. The trek was around an hour long, weaving through picturesque landscapes. The temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, stood majestically amidst the forest. The spiritual aura and the panoramic views from the temple made the hike worthwhile.

Upon reaching the temple, we were greeted by the breathtaking panoramic views of the valley below. The sight was both humbling and exhilarating. We took a moment to absorb the spiritual aura of the place, feeling a deep sense of peace and connection with nature and the divine.

SEROLSAR LAKE: NATURE’S MIRROR

Our next destination was Serolsar Lake, a hidden jewel of Trithan Valley. It took us about two hours to reach the lake, trekking through dense forests and meadows. Serolsar Lake, with its crystal-clear waters reflecting the sky, left us spellbound. The serenity of the place, surrounded by towering deodar trees, made it an ideal spot for relaxation and reflection.

We sat by the lake’s edge, soaking in the tranquility and watching the gentle ripples disturb the mirror-like surface. The cool mountain breeze carried the fresh scent of pine, adding to the peaceful ambiance. We spent hours just sitting there, lost in the beauty and stillness around us, feeling a deep connection to nature. It was one of those rare moments of pure bliss, where we wished time could just stand still.

CAMPING AT RAGHUPUR FORT

We made our way to our last trek of the day Raghupur Fort. The trek was challenging but rewarding, with panoramic views of the valley unfolding at every turn. We set up camp near the fort ruins, sharing stories and laughter under a starlit sky. The fort, though in ruins, had an old-world charm that added a touch of mystery to our night.
It was a magical evening, full of camaraderie and a sense of adventure that we knew we’d cherish forever.

CHHOIE WATERFALL AND SHARCHI VILLAGE

Early the next morning, we set out for Chhoie Waterfall near Sharchi Village. The trek was refreshing, taking us through dense forests and across bubbling streams. The waterfall, tumbling down a rocky cliff into a clear pool, was a stunning sight.

After soaking in the beauty of the waterfall, we wandered through Sharchi Village. The village, with its traditional Himachali houses and terraced fields, gave us a wonderful glimpse into the local culture and lifestyle.

With our hearts full and minds refreshed, we began our journey back to Solan. The trip to Trithan Valley was more than just a weekend getaway , it was a journey of discovery, adventure and bonding with nature and friends.

As we drove back, the memories of serene lakes, ancient temples, and picturesque landscapes played like a beautiful montage in our minds. Trithan Valley left an indelible mark on us, promising that we would return to explore more of its hidden treasures.

Thank you for joining me on this virtual tour of Trithan Valley. Until next time, keep exploring and cherishing the beauty of the world around you.
