I am doing a bowel detox so you don't have to | Day 3

in #hive-1200787 months ago

I woke up at day 3 feeling weirdly energized. You know the feeling when you want to get out of bed and do stuff which you have been leaving for a while? That is what I had on day 3. What a contrast with how I woke up on day 2 where I didn't feel like a winner at all. I guess that day 2 really is detoxing and I don't know if that is really detoxing from what the shakes are doing, or just withdrawl from what you are used to eating on the daily. Day 2 was about priced in on feeling crappy and weak, and until the evening this was surely the case.

But in the morning of day 3 the belly felt calm and extremely flat which is interesting if you think about how much fluids I have been pumping in there on the daily. Combined with the fluids in the shakes and additional water and tea I guess I am at least on 4 liters of fluids per day. That does keep you filled up though.

Remember I am not doing this at all for weight loss, because I don't think that doing something for a couple of days will bring anything sustainable in that. But what I do believe is flushing the bowels from the inside out is not a bad thing to considering what lives in there.

Shake it!

Admittingly, I am getting the hang on how this works with the shakes and after which one it helps to throw in some extra water afterwards. Also the taste doesn't really bother me anymore because I now know this is the deal of it. Still the taste of pea powder in the morning is just not something I want leave in my normal eating, as I prefer very different flavors. Yuk!

But today I wasn't alone in the house anymore and seeing someone else cook and eat stuff does not help. To me eating is a social event and taking a shake is not really a social thing, but that is all in the mind. The scent of food is just nice haha

I was reading a bit more about this whole fermented palm oil fiber thing which makes the detox happen and apparently together with Okra which you can see on the image below, is the key ingredients to start the proces of where the barrier of the biofilm layer gets broken and the ingredients softer it to get it out of the bowel.

Okra is not a veggie that we eat here in the Netherlands, but I had it a lot in the Caribbean. My Philipino colleagues were the ones who introduced it to me back then by stir frying it, and it was good! This is a healthy one, but it is a little bitter if you only eat this, so I would always mix it with some other veggies.

So day 3 is going like a breeze but I am still not sure if the 'stuff' that I am producing is the old biofilm what they are talking about. I am slightly considering to throw in an extra day of detoxing because day 3 is going so easy. On the other hand...the thought of food with flavour is also really nice.

Since I had 3 boxes for free I could also consider doing a whole next detox for free next year or so...that's also worth considering as the stuff ain't cheap.

But hell yeah, I haven't felt this energized in a while and that was what the whole deal was about! And that even without eating solid foods, ain't that something!

What the hell am I doing again and why?

I am doing a cleansing treatment of the bowel by drinking these kinds of shakes. It should work as a detox that it cleans out the inside of the bowel and by that gives room to create a better immune system.

I am experimenting with this because someone I know didn't have allergies anymore after this treatment, so that is also why am trying. Nothing wrong with working on the the balance in the body right?

I hope it works

Haha same here dude! Otherwise this was a lot of shakes for nothing, but honestlty until now..it feels like it is going in the right direction

haha yes, sweet

Bowel detox is good for the body system to work smoothly. We always underestimate its benefits. I remember when i did mine a couple of months back, it was rejuvenating for me and afterwards I felt like I could float. I hope to read your feedback. Good luck.
