But I am entitled to be, since I have been using the hive blockchain since 2017, in so many, different ways!
In this post I try to pick my top 3 reasons why I can even say I Love this blockchain.
Because trust me, there are many more
1. Real People & Real Applications
Technically speaking Hive is a decentralized, open-source blockchain designed for Web3 applications, content creation, and social engagement. It operates on a Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) consensus mechanism, ensuring high-speed transactions, scalability. The platform supports two native cryptocurrencies, HIVE & HBD.
But for me, Hive Blockchain is much more. It is its people, from the witnesses who keep this blockchain alive, the users who support it and make it thrive, and all the communities, dApps, games that keep developing and innovating!

2. Communication & Education
I have met some of the most amazing people here, from all around the world. I can scroll my feed and I will see so many different posts by many different people, sharing insights, education, life moments. I can simply communicate with them with a response and it is really great to see scenes from all these places, so different from the one I live in!
My education in blockchain started by me signing up and learning everything I could about blockchain tech, dApps, NFTs and so much more. I even was inspired to learn more about finance & investing, there are many communities discussing many different subjects.
Hive was my door and my inspiration to pursue and complete my Masters Degree in Blockchain by the University of Nicosia!
3. Transparency & Content Ownership.
Hive is a blockchain, and as such - one of its core features is transparency.
Everything is open for everyone to see in the blockchain. Everyone is welcome to explore the blockchain. I own my content and when I post on the blockchain, it is stamped in an immutable way that this thought, this photo, my content, is mine and will forever be.
For me, hive has been an inspiration to become a better person and to acquire a number of skills during the process.
It would be a shame not to mention the rewards that I earn for being here, creating and curating content. I use most of it in the platform itself, but a small amount is used to cover matters like stray cats neutering & feeding, but also investing and testing out decentralized finance options.
