Hive Arte || Flor multicolor en líneas curvas. 🌼

Blessed day dear friends of Hive Arte. I hope you are enjoying good health and creativity is always with you. Today I want to share with you one more of my drawing exercises that I have been doing in my little free time.

This time I chose to draw half of a flower with large petals and then fill them with curved line patterns that simulate flowers. I decided to color each petal in a different color to make the drawing more striking. This time I was coloring with fine markers, since they work much better for making lines than colored pencils.

While I was making this drawing, I was thinking about how beautiful and pleasurable creative work is. To admire the different expressions of art and craftsmanship is wonderful, but to create from scratch something in which imagination, creativity, thought and emotions are involved is something magical. The feeling of well-being and satisfaction that arises during each process and seeing the final result is something very positive for our lives. That's why I love handmade work so much, I love learning new techniques, new ways of creating beautiful things.

Crochet allows me to relax and focus at the same time, it allows me to create, but I can also follow pre-designed patterns and add my personal touch to them. It is a technique with which you can disconnect from the world to immerse yourself in the universe of threads and stitches. As for line drawing, it allows me to be much freer, I can allow myself to change direction or change color or idea whenever I want and that doesn't affect the final result because I'm not expecting to get something in particular, each result is a pleasant surprise.

In my case, as this activity is purely recreational and relaxing, I don't demand too much of myself, I usually improvise a little and work a lot with my emotions, I let myself go and simply scratch as it occurs to me. This process helps me a lot to calm the anxiety that everything must be well done, since many times I get out of the patterns, but the result is nice for me anyway. It is precisely that, drawing lines is something of me for me, it is my moment and I enjoy it very much. Thank you for reading, greetings and blessings.
