Greetings creative friends of Hive Arte, it is a nice pleasure to greet you again from my blog. I wish you a happy start of the week and a happy start of the month. Today I share with you a nice poster with a very motivating phrase that I made this weekend to place it on the door of my creative space.
My favorite room in the house is, without a doubt, my little office. This is a small but cozy room where I spend most of my day. This space also functions as my creative workshop most of the time, since I keep my crafting, sewing and knitting materials there. A few days ago it occurred to me to rearrange it a bit, move things around and take out some things that I don't use and that take up a lot of space.
I must confess that, at first glance, the room looks more like a preschool classroom than an adult's office. This is because the decoration of the walls is inspired by a garden, there are many flowers, butterflies, ladybugs, clouds and other drawings. On the other hand, my amigurumis and dolls also have a special place in this space. I also have a small cork board where I place my favorite drawings of this art therapy.
Sometimes I think I should completely change the decoration and turn the room into a real office, a bit more sober and simple. However, I think it is precisely the colorful and varied nature of the place that inspires me to create and makes me feel comfortable.
So I thought of adding some posters with motivational phrases. That's how I came up with this first poster that will be placed on one of the doors right in front of my desk so that I can constantly see it and remind myself that I am capable of much more than I imagine.
The process of making this small poster was very simple and entertaining. The first thing I did was to print a template I created in canva and then I started to put a lot of color on it. To color the letters I used the technique of filling with line patterns which was very fun and gave a different textured effect to each word.
Making this poster was a great help to me, as it kept me busy and entertained during the hours of the weekend that we were without power in our country due to the national blackout. Once again coloring patterns of different lines turned out to be an excellent Art Therapy. Thanks for reading, greetings and blessings.
