Hello, hello Hive friends, I hope this week is being productive for all of you. Today I am excited to share with you my experience visiting one of my favorite towns in the east of the country. It is my beloved Caripe, a very beautiful and cozy town. In this post I will be sharing with you pictures of my most recent visit to this town in the state of Monagas which is known as the Garden of the East.
It has been about 5 years since I last visited the town of Caripe and I really wanted to return to enjoy its pleasant climate and beautiful scenery. A few days ago I was invited to visit one of my daughter's best friends who was spending her school vacations with her paternal grandparents who live in the town. This invitation was the perfect opportunity to give us an escape from the stormy heat that is doing in the city of Maturin, so my daughter and I did not think much and decided to go to spend a different day in this beautiful town.
Caripe is one of the most visited tourist places in the state of Monagas. Its most popular sites are La Cueva del Guacharo and "Las Pailas". However, in this opportunity our visit was concentrated specifically in the town, as in other occasions we have already been to the Cave and Las Pailas.
The most popular place in town is the central square, where the church is located. This square is the meeting place for the inhabitants of Caripe, especially young people and teenagers, where they gather to talk and share with friends.
Near the square is the mayor's office building and a branch of the Instituto Universitario Pedagógico (Pedagogical University Institute).
The square is a place with a very pleasant climate, as it is surrounded by huge trees that provide shade to the whole place. It was very relaxing to sit on one of its benches to eat ice cream and enjoy the scenery.
Our tour consisted of walking through the streets of the town, admiring the architecture of the oldest houses and some contemporary houses; visiting some small shopping centers, walking through the market, buying some snacks and visiting the monument to the "Guacharo" where we all took the opportunity to take many pictures, as this site is the most iconic of the visits to Caripe.
Walking through the streets of this town was a very different experience for us because we were surrounded by the beautiful mountain scenery, this is something we cannot enjoy in the city.
My daughter and her friends were very amazed with the beautiful view that the town offers us.
For all of us it was a very nice experience and we are looking forward to come back and visit more places.
It was a pleasure for me to share with you the pictures of this nice walk; thanks for reading, greetings and blessings.
