Hoy vengo emocionada a compartir con ustedes mi WIP project número 3. Este es el tercero de mis 5 proyectos pendientes.
Se trata de una carterita tejida en color blanco.
Blessed Monday my dear and appreciated needleworkers, we meet again in our long awaited needlework Monday. I wish you an excellent week, full of many good things and that it is productive for all of you.
Today I am excited to share with you my WIP project number 3. This is the third of my 5 pending projects.
It is a knitted purse in white color.
I am fascinated by white accessories, such as handbags, belts and sandals. That's why for a long time I had as a goal to knit myself a white purse. This project was delayed for some time, since I was looking for the ideal material.
At first I thought about using rag, but since dust abounds in this city, I didn't want to risk the white color turning beige with use.
So, after much thought, I decided to work with nylon macramé. This is a slightly thicker material than the one I usually use for pencil cases and cosmetic holders, which allows the wallet to have more rigidity.
But what I like most about this thread is that it can be washed and does not lose its color or texture.
Although it may not seem like it, knitting with such a bright tone also tires the eyes, so I made this project a little slower than usual. On the other hand, knitting with white material is very delicate, you have to be very careful not to stain or damage the yarn because otherwise the fabric will not be neat and beautiful.
Since I could only get 2 balls of white macramé, I had to weave a small purse with a slightly long strap. It was just enough to make the purse with its strap, and I was even able to make a tassel to decorate the front of the purse.
Saludos y bendiciones.
I knitted the purse in a spiral using low stitches interspersed to give it some relief. Sincerely, I was very satisfied with the material chosen, as well as with the final result. I just need to add a nice lining and a clasp to make it more secure. I hope you liked this project. Thank you very much for following my WIP projects and for reading my publications.
Greetings and blessings.
