Howd'y Hivers! I'm back! Just got resurrected from the busy real world. You know, adulting life. (Sigh) How I wish I can turn to be a cat, to escape this tiring life. A pet cat that is spoiled to its fur parents. Gives everything they need and treat them like babies. They don't worry about the bills and dues, cause they are staying free, but paid by you.
Just like this one. Nini, the very bossy cat. She claimed all soft is her bed, and when she lay down there means you need to obey. Whew!
I gently caressed her back which makes her feel sleepy. She loved it every time I do it. I kissed her and stared at her for a moment. Tsk! This innocent face is very deceiving. I remember again what she did last Tuesday.
** Flashback **
Woman: What's that smell? (She looks at me while covering her nose even though she's wearing a facemask)
Tuesday, 4:19 PM, the exact time that I ride on an E-Jeep (Electric Jeepney) on my way to market.
Since my half-sister lives with me it became my routine to go to the market every afternoon to buy viand for our dinner and for our food the next day because prices in the market are cheaper than to the vendors nearby our house. I can save 3 times the price to market than here.
Okay back to the E-Jeep.
The seats were all occupied when I get in, so I don't have a choice but to stand. There are also passengers who already inside standing. They are wearing uniforms that I can tell they are from school or work.
I didn't wait for other vehicles to come. I know they are also loaded because it was already peak hours.
Then the E-Jeep started to move. 3 minutes passed, and one passenger said she will be getting off. No one wants to take a seat, I guess they were also all shy. Then one man talk and said "Take it" to me. I guess he pitied me because I can't reach the handlebars. Poor creature! Whew!
I sat there and saw the fare collector come near me.
"How much to market Sir?" I asked.
"$0.25" he replied.
I took my purse from the bag, get some coins and hand him my payment.
"What's that smell?!" said the woman next to me.
Her voice was loud that caught the attention of other passengers. Their eyes are all on me now. I simply smell myself and sniff my underarms thinking it stinks cause she suddenly reacts when I raised my hand to the collector but it isn't. I checked my slipper's back too but didn't find any sh*t there.
"I think it comes from your bag" she talk again.
I checked my bag and dig my things.
(Gulp) I get shivers and can't move when I touched something blobby and saw poop really in there.
"Whattha!" How did it get here?!" I said, but in my mind, I already have a suspect, Nini.
"Why are you carrying a sh*t!" one man teased.
"Ewww!" the child reacts.
I looked at the other passengers and saw them feel uncomfy. Huhu! I want to disappear and be eaten by the ground at that moment. I told the fare collector to drop me off even though I'm still far from the market. I don't want to be inconvenience to them for any minute. When the vehicle stops, I quickly get off and walk very fast to other way where they won't see me. Gaaad! I felt dizzy because of embarrassment.
I walk to the vendor in the streets and bought 2 plastic bags. I put my things to the other plastic and separate the bag with sh*t. I also bought water to wash my hands. Then I ride home after. I didn't continue to go to market anymore thingking they might see me again.
When I got home, I went straight to the toilet and flush the sh*t that ruin my day. I scolded Nini and didn't give her dinner.
1 week already passed but I still hear the man who said "Why are you carrying a sh*t?!" Maybe he was thinking it's my poop! Argggggghhhh! Noooooo! I won't go to Market on Tuesday anymore and will change it on Friday so I can blog it on Market Friday Community.
How about you? Have you experienced being embarrased in the public? How did you escape from them? Tag me if you will share your story so I can read them :)
To all furparents out there, check your bags before leaving, so you can avoid this kind of embarrassment cause of your naughty babies.
That's it for my blog today. Thanks for hearing my crazy sentiments. Till next time :)
