Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.
For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organized by @ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.
Yooo... It has been a minute since the last time I participated in Three Tunes Tuesday. Wow! This may actually be the longest streak I have without making an entry to this weekly music initiative.
It has been a busy couple of weeks. September, in particular, was a dicey month for me. I spent a lot more than I earned, and I only wish I made so much more. However, that was never my reality. Now, we are up for a new month.
The Web3 communities and brands I have been connecting with call this month Uptober. It's a name coined out of optimism. I'm looking forward to all I will be achieving this month.
Well, I'm here to share three Tunes with y'all. For this edition, I have to quickly dig into my playlist and select songs that I've never highlighted for Three Tunes Tuesday.
Let's get into those already.
1. BIRDS OF A FEATHER by Billie Eilish.
That's a new banger right there from Billie Eilish. The music video is less than a week old and the song is doing some numbers already. Of course, the numbers have so much to do with the reputation that's already tied to Billie Eilish in the industry. However, the song itself is an interesting one.
It's actually a sad song if you think about it. It's also a song that hits hard about the reality that faces humanity. The music video concept explores a dramatic psychological pull. I found the video quite interesting. It forces you to think. That's if you are someone who likes to see beyond what's in plain sight.
2. INTRO (end of the world) by Ariana Grande.
This song gives me the Lana Del Rey's "Summertime" feeling. Wow! I know I've already shared Summertime a couple of times. So, I won't be adding it to today's TTT highlight. However, this particular song is done brilliantly.
It always catches me off guard when the song ends because this is a very short song. Like, less than two minutes short. Haha. This live version of the song was released just 9 hours ago. The song hits the spot and nothing crazy was captured in the video. Just a plain display of brilliance.
3. SOLTERA by Shakira.
Haha... I'm having a big laugh already. Anyone who knows the OG names in the music industry will surely know a thing or two about Shakira. She's one of those who brings spicy tunes with her songs. That's exactly why I had a good laugh the moment I first played this song.
I didn't understand a word and I still haven't made any effort to understand a word of what she's saying. This will go down as one of those songs I vibe to without any desire to know more about the song. Hehe.
That's it for this week's edition of Three Tunes Tuesday. I genuinely wish I could do this every Tuesday for the rest of the month. But I know best not to make any promises regarding that. Haha.
May the odds be in our favor next week.
Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.
