Bananalicious Bakes: Unleashing Cake Perfection

in #hive-1205869 months ago
This banana cake is one of the easiest breads to bake, and I often make it whenever I have the chance.

The recipe for this banana cake is very simple. If you don't have butter, you can easily replace it with vegetable oil. Some people also add 1/2 cup of skimmed milk or 3 tablespoons of yogurt to make it smoother and softer. However, I prefer to keep mine simple, as long as it's not overcooked.

Given my limited baking ingredients, it's crucial to get the measurements right. Using too much all-purpose flour can result in a dry texture, while excessive oil or butter might cause burning, especially considering the longer cooking time required.

I have all the ingredients at home needed to make a simple banana cake.

  • 2 or 3 large or medium ripe Bananas
  • 1 1/2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt (Himalayan Salt)
  • 1/2 cup Granulated white sugar or Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (As you preferred)
  • 2 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon of Baking soda and Baking Powder

EASY PROCEDURE:

1. While preheating the oven to 340°F, beat the eggs in a mixing bowl. Then, add the mashed banana, oil, and Vanilla Extract and continue mixing until the ingredients are well combined. Set aside the mixture.

2. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and optionally raisins or nuts if desired. Mix well.

3. Gradually add the flour mixture to the banana mixture, folding gently until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

4. Grease a loaf pan and then pour the mixture into it. If you have baking paper, you can use it without greasing the pan.

5. Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool down before serving. Enjoy!

Banana cake is indeed simple and easy to make. In fact, you can use pumpkin, avocado, or papaya with the same method. However, if using pumpkin, it needs to be steamed first to soften it. I hope you enjoy trying out these variations. Thank you!

I appreciate those who supported and trusted me to create original content. I want you to know that I'll only be writing about my plants or recipes until this month of March. I'm considering stopping because all my hard work in writing is being ignored due to the downvotes of a toxic Leader of Filipino from hiveph. If I didn't care about this site, it would have broken down like Steemit a long time ago, receiving automatic comments that most people dislike. Once again, Thank You very much.
