Hello hivian
This is my first attempt to post in this community. I’m delighted to be here and be part of the Afri-tunes family. Having being an African genre of music I’ll here back to back on a weekly level to share my music as an entry.
This week I’ll be singing a gospel worship song that I named OPE. An amazing piece of melody which appeals my soul when I lay my tongue on it. A soul lifting one.
I hope you enjoy my entry. Below is the lyrics to the song
(Chorus)
Elope latigba lowo mi o
(you deserve the praise from me)
Elope latigba lowo mi o
(you deserve the praise from me)
(verse)
Igba mo re’gbe mi o
(when I see my mates)
Ti won sale la’kitan
(Picking garbage from dump site)
Igba mo re’gbe mi o
(when I see my mates)
Ti won je bo lo’rita
(eating sacrifice on T junction)
Igba mo re’gbe mi o
(when I see my mates)
Ti won f’oribale f’orisa
(bowing down to other God’s)
(chorus)
Elope latigba lowo mi o
(you deserve the praise from me)
Elope latigba lowo mi o
(you deserve the praise from me)
Elope latigba lowo mi o
(you deserve the praise from me)
Lyrics are by me @khemisolar
