Oasis - TTT

in #hive-19381624 days ago

I'm sure everyone has heard by now, but Oasis have decided to get back together and to go on a tour in 2025, which is going to be sick.

They're playing two dates here in Ireland in Croke Park, next August. I'll have the finger on the button to get some tickets. My mum is a huge fan of them, so we all want to try and go. Aimee isn't big on them, but just for the craic I'm going to get her a ticket so she can come along too.

Oasis - Fucking In The Bushes

As I've said many time in the past, I'm a big fan of Snatch, the film is one of my top 5 favourites of all time.

This song was used in it at the end of the film, and it was years later when I realised it was Oasis, and I've always really liked the song.

A few years ago, we all went to see Liam Gallagher live, and he opened the gig with this song, and a bunch of headlines and stuff coming up on the monitors and it instantly kicked the night off amazingly.

I'd never really been a fan of theirs, or his solo stuff until that night, and after the gig I got it, and started listening to them a bunch. Oasis are great, but his solo album As You Were is brilliant.

Oasis - Rock 'N' Roll Star

This is a really good song, and I've always liked it. In fairness, a lot of their songs are great. While they're a little bit overplayed, you can kind of understand why, since they couldn't help but produce catchy songs, that a lot of people like and can't help to move to.

Even Wonderwall, I think we can all agree that the song is ridiculously overplayed. If a guy at a party has a guitar, someone will call this out and tell them to play it as a joke, and it'll attract a lot of eyerolls, until it starts playing, and nobody can help but to help sing it.

Liam Gallagher - Better Run

This is one of his solo songs, and I really like it, along with pretty much the entire album it came from.

Seeing him live, and doing some of the Oasis songs was great, but I can't wait to potentially see the whole band together.

I have no idea how much the tickets are going to be, but considering it's a year away, it'll make it easier to justify the price.

Good luck with the tickets, I have a feeling this will be a huge sellout!

They were not really my era, but I appreciate the impact they had. I've played some of their songs. Are they doing this for the money? I'm sure they've had some good offers to get back together. It seems neither of them could be as big on their own. I hope you get those tickets, but I am not so bothered about seeing them.
