Before the Black Friday sale ended on the Xbox Store, me and Aimee picked out a couple of games we wanted to pick up and I snagged them last night before the deals ended.
Tiny Tina's Wonderland
About a year ago there was a free play weekend for this game, and during that weekend me, Aimee, and a few of our mates ended up playing a fair few hours of it together.
We all really enjoyed it, but never got around to buying it. Life kind of got in the way, now though, we do find that we have a couple of hours each evening that usually gets spent watching YouTube, some shows, or maybe a movie; that's all well and good, however, being able to get a bit of gaming in would also be really good.
Tiny Tina is a decent couch co-op game, and it's fairly funny in a tongue and cheek way, so we went for this one, with multiplayer in mind.
€18, including its season pass and a few different add-ons and additional content is a fairly decent deal, especially since the same thing would have cost us €90 otherwise.
The Borderlands Collection
I snagged this one while we were at it. The main reason was that I've wanted to go back to the original Borderlands again, also they're good couch co-op games.
The first game was a lot of fun back in the day, the second one, I did play, but never got far into it, and the pre-sequel is one of the Borderlands games I never actually got around to playing before.
With the Legendary Collection, I got all three of those games in one solid bundle for only €10, rather than the normal price of €50.
A tenner for 3 good games that me and Aimee will be able to complete together is a bargain I think.
The last game we played together was the Skywalker Saga Lego Star Wars game, which was a lot of fun - as most of the Lego games are.
Trying to find good multiplayer games like these can be hard, so we're happy to have a good stack now that we can get stuck into during the evenings when Kaleb goes to sleep.
KOTOR 2
I already own KOTOR 2 on the PC, but saw it on the Xbox for only €3.50, which was a decent enough deal and to me, it was worth picking it up.
It's a single-player game, but since I'm really close to finally completing the first game, I figured I would get this and have it in the vault while I'm getting through the first one.
These are the first games I've bought for myself in a good while, and I'm delighted with the deal.
5 games for €30 can't be beaten as far as I'm concerned, and it's always good to treat yourself once and a while.
