Funnily enough, we had another reminder that the world is a very small place. Out of about 10-15k people at the venue, we managed to pump into a bunch of people we knew which was a lot of fun.
I had invited one of the lads to come along to it, but he said he wasn't able to and then, sure enough he's there. Some of his mates who work in catering got him in for free and as me and my dad were on our way back home I got a picture from him hanging out backstage with all the lads from Anthrax which was cool to see.
We got right down to the front for Anthrax and as soon as the music came on it all kicked off, we all lost our pints that instant, but it was no big deal.
God, walls of death, and general pits take it out of you. I literally woke up this morning unable to move, I feel like I hit the gym hard yesterday, my arms, legs, chest, back, even my neck hurt.
It's that kind of muscle work out pain that happens when you over do it, but it's also mixed with the feeling that I got a few digs, haha.
Great night, but I can't really remember it all, I know we all had fun, drank a bit excessively - I've been cocooned in my dressing gown all day, feeling absolutely freezing cold. I don't know if it's a hangover, or if I'm coming down with something.
To make matters worse, both me and my dad were working today and it has been rough for both of us. Monday night gigs are not a great idea.
