Life means different things to different people, how we see it is how we live it. Years ago I had head knowledge about purpose and life, I wanted to be a lot of things, I even pictured my life in some ways until life happened that made me see life in a different light and thus respond in that light. My dad for example sees life in a way that makes him think money is the answer to everything. This made him pursue money, hustle and do things he wasn’t proud of. To date it’s still hard for him to see life differently, which to date affects his decision.

My mum on the other hand saw life as spiritual, and she would always say life is spiritual. Maybe it’s true, in fact there is a lot of truth to it (my personal belief). But then I do not think that’s all there is to life. Life can be both spiritual and a lot of other things but either way, the way she saw it has made her (and is still making her) exact all her time and strength in spiritual things. There was a time I thought life was spiritual, and I must admit I saw a lot of proof to believe it, but now I know there is a lot more to it.
I got to the point where I made a decision not to be like my parents, seeing that their strong convictions about life has only resulted in a lot of pain and suffering. Then there were a number of things I believed in, and one of those was giving life a meaning. I still believe it to date, but then, I’ve been in a process of finding ways to make life meaningfully the best way possible. Buy giving life a meaning I mean making the lives of people better, for me this has been a work in progress with a lot of trial and error I’ve had little success in it, I remember I’ve been able to try it out in the aspect of spirituality and knowledge, but I’ve seen that that’s not all to life, and that’s not all I want to be known for.

If there is some sort of purpose in my life, it is simply to make the lives of people better. This is because I do not want to walk my time on earth and be forgotten, I want to make a mark that would set a part for others to follow in future. And what better way to do so than to make the lives of people better and be in the success story of others as the one who made their dreams come true. I believe in serving humanity and gaining a name that would be heard in generations to come. I’m still trying to find my feet in a lot of things, but I hope I can achieve these things.
