Hi friends,
My name is Kindness Onyekwere, and my username is @kindybella. I'm from Umuro in Obingwa Local Government Area, Abia State, Nigeria. I am the last child of my parents, we were previously a family of 5 until the head of the family left (died). So currently we are a family of 4.
When dad died, life became too difficult for us that we hardly eat 2 meals per day. Most times, I will end up crying because it's as if my future have ruined. But at a point, I mustered up courage to move ahead as if nothing had happened because I need to wipe tears away from my mom's eyes.
To support my family I ventured into gaining a skill as a beauty consultant, it took me only but 6 months to graduate, got certified and then I started gaining clients. The reason why I chose makeup is because I needed a quick easy to learn skill so as to support my family in lesser time. A year later, a good Samaritan brought it upon himself to send me to the university which I am currently enrolled in and God being faithful, my finals.
As a student and beauty consultant, I'm passionate about helping others look and feel their best. My studies have equipped me with valuable skills, while my creative side flourishes through skincares and makeup artistry.

How I came to know Hive

Today a friend of mine came over to my house when I was making my hair and she introduced this special platform to me. Initially, my interest was low but when she informed me about spendHBD project which according to her is a project where I can buy with HBD and earn 20-40 percent discount, my interest aroused and I quickly accepted to be part of this because over the years, I've known her to be a content creator but base on my tight schedule, i know i won't have the time to always write. But, presently, base on this spendHBD aspect of hive, I became curious to join. Why? History has it that am a shopper. Yeah, on daily basis, I do buy both materials for my work and school projects including that of family needs. So, I really need to belong to hive and particularly to spendHBD community since it's where I fit in. Though, with time, I will also join makeup communities.

My first spendHBD experience
Like I stated earlier, I was making my hair when she introduced spendHBD aspect of hive to me. Initially I doubted, therefore, immediately after braiding the hair, I insisted that I must give it a try to be sure. Though its late, yet she accepted for us to visit @dikkies supermarket located opposite 7up company Aba. There, I selected my needed items, pay with HBD and immediately claimed my discount from @distriator without much stress.
