Drew this all by myself using Ibispaint X, A Samsung Galaxy S8+ tablet and a digital pen.
This one was a long and tricky process, plus, it took a lot of shading to make it look right.
How I Did It..
First things first the head, I wanted the eyes to look super serious, but right now it looks like she was doing a super complicated math problem😑
Oh great! Now she looks like she just got a divorce or something! That's not what I was looking for..
Now in here I wanted to make the drawing have perspective (that's what people call it) see when the conceptually suppose to be "bow lace" bends? That looks weird, I noticed and corrected it later...
I centered the character and did the eyes again and worked on the clothes..
Finally, after 2 days of fiddling with the sketch I applied the different tones of grey and base color, I also changed the eyes for the third time..
Base color, done!
I first did the hair, but when I finished it, it just wasn't what I was looking for, sure it looks cute, it just looks too simplistic, so I changed it...
After that and many attempts that went behind posting (like behind cameras) I came out with this..
Some touch ups and it now looks like this, in the background there are pointy mountains with an abstract slant, I made it a light grey to make the angel stand out...
Result..
I added some blur around the end of her hair and darkened the scene, but of course, that's personal preference..
The reason she was no halo even though most angels do is because halos are soooo last year, just kidding, it's because I couldn't figure out how the halo could fit perfectly in the drawing, plus the original oc doesn't have one.
