Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. Today my wife and I didn't go anywhere. We sent our son to school and go home. But I have the atmosphere of a traditional event at a temple in my district several days ago to share with everyone in this post. This month, many temples in my district and nearby districts have traditional event and religious ceremonies. When my wife and I have free time, we like to visit traditional event at temple. Especially seeing thai traditional dance shows and the atmosphere of religious ceremonies. Of course we always enjoy them.
This time my wife and I go to Wat Udom Mongkol Mae Kha. This temple is a famous temple in the district. The temple is along highway 107. And the temple is near our house (Distance approximately 4 kilometers). We also took our granddaughter to visit the traditional event here that day. We want to take our granddaughter to inherit northern thai traditions and support buddhism in the next future.
That day there were many northern thai traditional dance shows and traditional dances of the TaiYai people. And the atmosphere of religious ceremonies of buddhism in the temple's outdoor courtyard and buddha image hall (viharn). Additionally, there are many shops outside the temple too.
