Hello,I would like to tell you about my trip to Poznan and what we visited there.

My girlfriend at the end of the year had to use her unused vacation time and proposed to me to go somewhere on vacation,She dont have to persuade such ideas twice to me.
i immediately agreed and I had three days in a row free from work scheduled allready, classes at college were held remotely,so,all what we had to do was decide where we will rest after a hard and intense year. This time we bet on spending the vacations in our country that is Poland,we chosed Poznan.
The journey from Gdansk to Poznan passed quickly because most of the time I was at lessons led remotely, when we arrived we went for lunch then to visit the museum of croissants, where we learned about the history of this bakery, who developed the recipe and legends associated with the creation of these croissants.
The next day at 10a.m. we went to see the old market square, the town hall and waited for the goats of Poznan to come out of the clock in the very center of Poznan.
It was beautiful, then we went to the zoo in Poznan(from which, unfortunately,we have no pictures because I left my phone in the room and my girlfriend had low battery) the rest of the time we spent at the hotel, relaxing at best, it was great and I recommend everyone to visit this city!

Thank you for taking your time to read my blog and I hope I didn't bore you 🙂
See you in the next blog

Poland has a lot of baroque architecture it seems. I wouldn't know how to differentiate it from other countries like Czech, Hungary, Austria etc.

What is the significance of the two goats in your first picture?

Well its about a legend i translated it "According to one version of a folk legend, when the town hall was rebuilt after the great fire in Poznań, the clock for the town hall tower was ordered from master Bartłomiej from Gubin. The city council decided to celebrate this important event pompously. A great feast was planned and prominent personalities were invited to Poznań. Since there was a lot of work, the cook appointed a young cook Pietrek to turn the main course of roast leg of deer on the spit. The leg of deer was baking slowly, and Pietrek was curious about the clockwork. The young cook, unable to wait for the end of the roasting, decided to leave it for a while and look at the clock once.

However, in his absence the roast fell into the fire and burned to coals. The frightened boy ran to a nearby meadow where the townspeople were grazing their animals. He kidnapped two goats from there and took them to the town hall kitchen. However, the goats broke free of the boy and ran away to the ledge of the town hall tower. There, in front of the townspeople, the two frightened little white goats started to clash with each other's horns."

  1. well these countries are very similiar if we are talking about buildings styles.
