Being the best of who you are.

It's good being the best of who you are.
Being unique in the mixed of multitude is the best personality in life. Every one is made specially for a particular task to be be performed, so trying to be like another person is like trying to perform another person's task leaving your own behind. It's like running a race through another person's track. Life is like a drama in which our creator has given each person a role to play of which only him ( our creator) knows how it will end. In this case, when I try comparing myself to nother, it simply means that I am rejecting my role as a character trying to take another person's role maybe because he is richer or more beautiful than I am. Forgetting that in a drama a poor character may end up getting rich and one who seems not too beautiful may end up being favored than the so called beautiful one. So it's all about being the best of whom you are called to be and forget how fast or easy others seems to be.

Comparing oneself to another has a lot of side effects. It's equivalent to greed and it's outcome. I remember one of my coursemate when I was in school, a very beautiful lady with good body structure. She so much love mingling with people who are financially buoyant, so she don't have any business with you if you are broke. Then after our graduation, job was no were to be found. Some of us went into teaching as a profession but she refused to, her reason being that she can't go or start with salary of less than thirty thousand. That means she refused to accept her faith of a humble background or beginning. The last time I met her before the news of her death, she couldn't tell me the exact thing she was doing at Lagos Nigeria. Even when the news of her departure came, the cause of her death is still unknown to us till date. So comparing oneself with another has may imprecations or bad effects. One only have to accept his or her faith, work hard and trust God for a better life. Most times we end up being better than the person or people we are comparing ourselves with when being investigated. There is a proverb that says that, when you tell a poor man what it takes to be rich, he prefers being poor. No one has it all, just that sometimes the pasture looks greener on the other side.
