The society we are into today is the clear definition of what goes round comes around.
Friends, I am here to shear my little idea on the topic " Justice as a legal system and not tit for tat".
Starting with Justice, it can be said to be the act of being just which is the character of fairness and impartiality. This a no man's business as long as this present society is concern using Nigeria as a case study where no one cares to know the right and the wrong side of any matter. What speaks now in the society is money. As beautiful, handsome and good as money is, it has become a good weapon for bulling even in the Curt of law. No one cares to respect gray hair again, even the gray hairs insults and disgrace themselves in front of the children in the name of hustling to gain favor. Days are gone when children stands up from a chair for the adults or their elderly people to sit instead the revers is the case as long as that child has the money. Even in the law court today, justice is now a Folk tell to be told to the up coming generation. It is no longer the just that are being set free but the unjust because of money. Bribery is now the way forward. Nobody wants to be Simon of Cyrene who helped Jesus in carrying the cross. We are moving into a society where the just are only the rich and that is the language of power. Once it speaks, everyone listens and that boost the rate at which the young people are after money. The young ones are willing to get money by all means not looking at some their fathers who pursue that wealth wrongly at their own time and are now facing the consequences of their wrong steps. Power has been corrupted and absolute power is corrupting absolutely. Many young men has put their heads into many calabash in the name of making money, no one wants to get it little by little but at a go. Some has end up spoiling their destiny and that of their unborn children, giving their wrong steps different names to pent is white. In Nigeria today, the talk of the town among the young people is " yahoo yahoo" which they said is a way of duping people and be collecting their money of which is not the whole truth. Some has gone back to cultism in an advanced way to the point that some young men end up entering bushes and open areas where people dedicate in search of people's shit. Yes, they get them and eat them with bread . What! And all these unlawful acts are just in the name of getting rich "Money", So as to have a say in the society and not be neglected or treated unjustly.
The next is vengeance, the tit for tat which is common and the right thing among the people in the society. This act of returning exactly what one gets has become an advantage against the christians who are genuinely following and living by the word of God . Biblically, this is the law of Moses which is in the old testament. An eye for an eye, if you hit me, I hit you back, you break my tooth, I break yours too. But Christ came and showed His own way of which every true believer must follow. If you hit me in one side of my face, I turne the other for you. Frankly speaking, this is very hard to observe. But not to worry, in all these things. What goes round comes around, he that kills with sword dies by the sword. When one rejoices that he has punished the just, the consequences of his actions awaits him.
We should always remember that the cup we use to major for others will be used to major for us.
