No human being is useless in life. Every human being that is alive has an interesting part of life as there are many things about life that humans can be useful for. That is a big mistake some parents or guidance and some teachers normally make. Every child is a star which can only be admired when discovered. I have been a classroom teacher for some years now and I have seen many occasions where parents punished their child or children for not doing very well academically not knowing or forgetting that everyone or child must not be the same. So parents should stop comparing their child with another. Every child must not be the best academically. If a child is not actually bright academically, have you try him in terms of hand work or skills. Some are even more than a star in games and other things like music, comedy, acting or even dancing. And once a child has been taking into his or skill you see him shine. Even as a teacher there there are some children that are very good in speaking, give them something to write, they can't or even write slowly and there some that can write but can't speak also there are some that can neither write nor speak but can be an expert in drawing something to the point that they can draw not just physical but can draw an imaginary things. I know one of my student whom you hardly see him in the classroom smiling or laugh and chatt with his fellow classmates with very poor performance academically but I respect this boy one day went to his mother's store to buy something as I entered he was busy attending to a customer with smiles and laughter all over their face but adjusted immediately he saw me. Then I went straight to the mother where she was sitting as she watch people's movements in the store. We greeted and on process of our gist I brought in the matter about his son as my student. The guess what, the mother told me that her whole hope for success after God is her son. That when ever the boy come to the store mostly during the holidays she use to rejoice because she has to rest. That even if she is not in the store, she don't need to worry because she knows her son can handle the store, the sales personal and even the customers more than her. So that is it.
Now back to my main topic about the things that makes me happy. The things that makes me happy are what I love doing the most. As a teacher by profession I love seeing my studying performing well academically not just in the classroom but also other outdoors activities like games and other competitions. There is nothing that gives me joy like when I see my student outside school doing fine, I don't west time in answering their greetings or call there attention when they do not see me. Some of them that are already financially balance do even give me a handshake or even package some gift for their teacher. I remember one day I went to a primary health care to run a test. On reaching there I mate one of my student who is a nurse there. Wow! If you see how this girl rushed me. "Teacher! Teacher!! Everyone meet my teacher. She now started directing me on what do to make thing easy for me and couldn't leave my side still I finished and left the place. Guys, teaching is a nice profession and I love it so much because it makes me happy.
Another thing that I love doing and it makes me happy is sewing. Though I didn't go for on time but the little I have learn has take me a long way that I can now amend my clothes and that of my family and can sew some of the female styles, no more westing my money on sewing male clothes and big styles for that of female. So I save that money for some other much important things for our up keep.what worth doing is what doing well.
