Hello Hive. 😃 I'm back again with another @drabble.club microfiction, that is #zapfic100, inspired by the prompt "poor me" taken from @daily.prompt's post
If you will like to write microfiction in 100 words, feel free to give this challenge a try.
Drizzle becomes a heavy downpour in a space of five minutes. There's no place to take shelter and drink a cup of coffee. Shops are close and it's only just five in the afternoon.
After walking around aimlessly all day in search of a job, I'm drenched wet. I'll be returning to any empty apartment with no food.
I'm jogging in the rain when a car races by, splashing dirty, puddled water on me. My situation is pathetic. The tears flow unceasingly.
Poor me, that's all I can think of when I hear a whistle. "Get out of the rain. Come."
Thanks for reading!
