I hope I am not late in greeting Splinterlands a happy 6th anniversary. So for this week's art contest, I will draw Blackmoor Nymph. I was about to draw Blackmoor Nymph in the last art contest but Thanalorian Scion called my name it was her lucky day this week because it's her time to shine this time LOL.
I got delayed finishing her because I got fewer than a few days ago maybe the sleepless night already came to me LOL, my body can't handle it anymore. I quarantined myself in my room in case but my mom said that it was fine because I didn't catch a cold no need for that. heh
Good news I fix my laptop USB hub finally! I told myself if I didn't fix it within the day I would seek help from my brother but boom... I just need to update the driver. hehe, I just want to share with you some good news.
I chose Blackmoor Nymph because I like her hair so much I wanted to have green hair and with confident aura i am really into fierce aura yeah that is my thing. LOL
The Process:
For the line art, I do a simple and I always use a pencil brush for the line art work for me. This time I am adding a background just simple though just to make the art pop out more.
The next step is I add all the base colors for each part with their respective layer so it will be easier to render later, sometimes I forget it but remember after realizing it LOL. Then I lower the opacity of the lineart for a better adding layer.
After that, I used the fill shape tool and clipped the base layer and then I added the base shadow.
Next, I use the filter blur to blend the shadow I added last time so that it will conveniently save time in rendering.
Next, I added a forest background i think it suits her vibe so I did it. and then I added highlights on the parts that needed to be highlighted.
For the final to make the highlight and the lighting pop out I added a layer named transparency mask and then I added a layer with blending mode addition to make her power light pop out like a light. And for extra, I added a orbs lights behind her.
Thank you so much for visiting. See you on my next blog.
