I have posted some photos of our Bahong Sunflower Farm visit here. I was expecting just sunflowers but there were actually more kinds of flowers that I don't know the name of and I would like to share those here.
You can check out this video instead if you don't want to read along :D

We have planned on going to this farm last month but because of the unpredictable weather, we kept postponing it. Fortunately, we had time last week and the weather cooperated as well so we decided to push through with it.
Bahong is just one of the flower gardens that can be found in Benguet, particularly in La Trinidad. Depending on traffic, from Baguio City to Bahong is about a 30-minute trip. Therefore, it's recommended to go there early to avoid heavy traffic.
From Baguio City, look out for the sign on the left where the way to the farm leads.
The entrance to the farm is just beside the barangay hall. We had to register and pay PHP150.00 per person for the entrance fee. The lady who was at the registry then pointed us the way and instructed us to follow the signs. There were arrows along the way pointing you in the right direction for you have to pass several gardens before reaching the sunflower plots.
Don't forget to greet this furry friend at the registry.
There were plants along the way that you will pass by. During our visit, some greenhouses were already harvested or were just about to be planted.
There were still poinsettias available for us to admire that time.
Just around the bend to the left of these flowers are the sunflower gardens.
While this is nice, I'm not sure what was the purpose of this. It was too low to the ground for someone to take a photo with it. It must have served another purpose before.
And now let's get to the other flowers.
Arcs like these can be seen around the farm. Again, I find them to be set up there just as an afterthought. Not really maximizing the purpose of those.
The farm is not that wide. I was expecting more but turned out only a small portion was planted with sunflowers. Whenever you decide to visit the farm, it is advised to wear something that will protect you from the direct hit of the harsh sun. There is a hut thankfully where you can rest for a while.
During our visit, there were only two rows with sunflowers.
There's this one flower among the rows of dried ones, standing proud and tall.
The bees were having a field day literally because they are enjoying going from one flower to another not minding us but I captured photos of them. Another group who came after us were scared of the bees that's why they only spent a few minutes before leaving.
As for me, I didn't mind. I just enjoyed my time with the sunflowers and the other flowers there as well.
Having had enough of the sunflowers, I then spent some time checking out the other flowers as well.
Of note, there is a rose farm also nearby that is worth visiting. It would be a next destination later on.
There goes my #WednesdayWalk for today hosted by @tattoodjay and #MakeMeSmile hosted by @elizacheng. Have a wonderful rest of your week!
