Kopito de Nieve, es la razón de despertarme todos los días a las 6:00 am, es impresionante la exactitud de ese momento. No importa que tan profundo este el sueño. Él sabe cómo hacer para llamar tu atención. Aparte de los maullidos incesantes, acompaña su melodía con sus garras afiladas en la madera de la puerta de mi cuarto.
Siempre he sido de dormir bastante. Sin embargo en mi vida de adulta tenía como rutina colocar la alarma del móvil, para poder levantarme y realizar mi programación del día. Desde que Kopito llego en el mes de junio del año pasado, hemos aprendido a saber que requiere un gato para ser feliz en su entorno.
Dentro de su rutina, o quizá la mía, todos los días es así, primero rasga la puerta. Una vez que logra el cometido de que salga de mi cuarto, se va corriendo hacia la sala, para que le llenen su plato de comida. Sin que él se dé cuenta, me meto en el baño y el rápidamente se va detrás de mí. A seguir su concierto de maullidos.
Luego de terminar en el baño, ahora si se va corriendo a la cocina y da un salto abismal sobre el tope donde se encuentra su plato. Apenas le coloco la comida no da oportunidad alguna para que le coloque el plato en su sitio destinado para tal fin. Yo lo quito de inmediato para que comprenda que tiene un sitio específico para comer. Y al fin lo logramos, ya listo para comer como se debe.
Dentro de esta rutina esta cambiarle al agua y cambiar el aserrín, pues debo acotar que no hace sus necesidades fisiológicas sobre aserrín mojado o sucio. Toma su agua y así de rápido va y hace sus necesidades, para luego estirarse, lamerse y dormir.
Tengo que decir que antes de que llegara Kopito a nuestras vidas nunca me gustaron los animales de ningún tipo. Pero ahora de todos el que más me gusta son los gatos, son muy independientes y limpios.
Hay una palabra de todo este escrito que me llama la atención. Y es “RUTINA”, Los animales en general poseen una rutina para poder vivir de forma cómoda y feliz. Ahora bien, les voy hablar desde mi experiencia, seguramente habrán muchos que su realidad sea totalmente diferente, solo que en mi caso, el establecer rutinas y hábitos sin lugar a dudas es un área de oportunidad. Y en esta ocasión quiero tomar a Kopito de ejemplo y guía en este proceso que llevo desde que inició el año. Siempre establezco una rutina con actividades específicas, donde llega un momento en el que igual las cumplo pero en un orden muy alocado.
Ahora bien una de las cosas que aprendí, evaluando la rutina de Kopito es que tiene horas específicas para todo, es un reloj ambulante. Es por ello que decidí colocar un horario estricto para las diferentes actividades.
Aja, ¿Porque digo estricto? Porque normalmente el ser humano desde sus heridas se maneja en las polaridades, o es negro o es blanco. El trabajo es comprender que tenemos matices y que podemos llegar a una tonalidad de gris sin que el mundo se caiga. Sin embargo en el mundo de la reprogramación de creencias, debemos en oportunidades ser radicales. Es por ello que en mi caso específico, debo ser estricta por lo menos en 66 días continuos, para lograr que el nuevo hábito se implante en mi subconsciente y logre que vea esa nueva actividad, tan normal como cepillarme los dientes.
Gracias a mi Kopito amado, pude comprender desde el corazón que si no poseo una rutina que funcione para mí, los resultados que quiero de la vida no serán nunca.

I have always been a heavy sleeper. However, in my adult life, I used to set the alarm on my cell phone as a routine, so I could get up and do my daily schedule. Since Kopito arrived in June last year, we have learned to know what a cat needs to be happy in his environment.
Within his routine, or maybe mine, every day is like this, first he scratches the door. Once he succeeds in getting me out of my room, he runs into the living room to get his food dish filled. Without him noticing, I go into the bathroom and he quickly leaves behind me. To follow his meowing concert.
After finishing in the bathroom, now he runs to the kitchen and jumps abysmally over the top of his plate. As soon as I put the food in his food bowl, he doesn't give me a chance to put it back in its designated place. I immediately remove it so that he understands that he has a specific place to eat. And we finally succeeded, he is ready to eat as he should.
Within this routine is to change the water and change the sawdust, because I must point out that he does not do his physiological needs on wet or dirty sawdust. He takes his water and just like that he goes and does his needs, and then he stretches, licks himself and sleeps.
I have to say that before Kopito came into our lives I never liked animals of any kind. But now of all the ones I like the most are cats, they are very independent and clean.
There is one word in all this writing that catches my attention. And it is "ROUTINE", Animals in general have a routine to be able to live comfortably and happily. Now, I am going to speak from my experience, surely there will be many that your reality is totally different, but in my case, establishing routines and habits is undoubtedly an area of opportunity. And this time I want to take Kopito as an example and guide in this process that I have been doing since the beginning of the year. I always establish a routine with specific activities, where there comes a time when I still do them but in a very crazy order.
Now, one of the things I learned, evaluating Kopito's routine is that he has specific times for everything, he is a walking clock. That's why I decided to set a strict schedule for the different activities.
Aha, why do I say strict? Because normally the human being from his wounds is handled in polarities, or is black or is white. The work is to understand that we have nuances and that we can reach a shade of gray without the world falling down. However, in the world of reprogramming beliefs, we must sometimes be radical. That is why in my specific case, I must be strict for at least 66 continuous days, to get the new habit implanted in my subconscious and make me see this new activity as normal as brushing my teeth.
Thanks to my beloved Kopito, I could understand from the heart that if I do not have a routine that works for me, the results I want from life will never be.
