"The Book that Made Me a Millionaire"

The E-Myth Revisited by Michael Gerber, discussed by Ali Abdaal...

'The E-Myth Revisited' by Michael Gerber
One Percent Better YouTube channel give their review…

πŸ“™ 'The E-Myth Revisited' by Michael Gerber

Why most small businesses don't work and what to do about it

Ah, the entrepreneurial journey. Where to start? I can barely spell it let alone act it out in the real world, and that's the same with many who attempt this crazy endeavour.

This book gives a great angle and on it all and will help guide the budding business owner to a more enjoyable and fruitful experience…

The 'E' if you haven't guessed stands for 'entrepreneur' and the myth is perhaps what we've been taught and/or what we believe about the word and its implications.

Gerber initially wrote The E-Myth back in 1986 and Revisited came out a few years later which they have updated every few years. He founded his company E-Myth Worldwide in 1977 so this book distills a lot of his wisdom working with people over the years.

Gives some great strategies and well worth a read!

'Think Like Da Vinci' by Michael Gelb

Principles based around the methods of the great renaissance man and β€˜boosting your everyday genius’. Apparently this guy achieved a few things in his life so perhaps worth emulating or at least studying a little! As well as a bit of background on Leo, you’ll learn:

  • CuriositΓ  – An insatiable quest for knowledge and continuous improvement
  • Dimostrazione – Learning from experience
  • Sensazione – Sharpening the senses
  • Sfumato – Managing ambiguity and change
  • Arte/Scienza – Whole-brain thinking
  • CorporalitΓ  – Body-mind fitness
  • Connessione – Systems thinking

As you can see, you’ll also get a chance to brush up on your Italian... 7 words of it anyway ;)
