The holidays have arrived and with it my girls are spending most of their time at home, which makes me look for strategies so that they can be entertained and learning. One of the things that I have been fully applying to my 5-year-old girl is reading.

Las vacaciones han llegado y con ello mis niñas pasan el mayor tiempo en casa lo que hace que busque estrategias para que puedan estar entretenidas y aprendiendo. Una de las cosas que he estado de lleno aplicando a mi niña de 5 años es la lectura.
While they were attending classes in this school period that ended, I was very confident about the learning they were acquiring through their early education teachers; Every day I placed the activity book such as the reading book in her backpack, believing that there was progress in this regard. But it turns out that the teachers were more focused on teaching the knowledge of school projects and their closings where they must always decorate, prepare party favors and make sure everything is extraordinary both for the little ones and to please the directors' requirements. of the campus, as supervisors of the educational zone or school municipality. But being fully aware of the school project has displaced the hours that should be invested in teaching reading to the little ones. In my case, believing that at school the teachers were focused on it and added to my commitments as an adult, I deviated from being attentive and also dedicating hours to reading thinking that my daughter was making progress in her school.
Mientras estaban asistiendo a clases en este periodo escolar que culminó estuve muy confiada en cuanto a los aprendizajes que estuvo adquiriendo por medio de sus maestras de educación inicial; todos los días en su mochila colocaba el libro de actividades como el de lectura creyendo que habían avances en cuanto a esta. Pero resulta que las maestras estuvieron más enfocadas en cuanto a enseñar los conocimientos de los proyectos escolares y los cierres de estos donde siempre deben decorar, preparar cotillones y que todo quede extraordinario tanto para los pequeños como para complacer en cuanto a los requerimientos de los directores del plantel, como supervisores de la zona educativa o municipio escolar. Pero estar de lleno, al pendiente del proyecto escolar ha desplazado las horas que deberían invertir en cuanto a la enseñanza de la lectura en los más pequeños. En mi caso creyendo que en la escuela las maestras estaban enfocadas en ello y sumado a mis compromisos como adulta, me desvié de estar atenta y dedicar también horas en la lectura pensando que mi niña en su escuela estaba avanzando en ella.

En una de las palmas de mis manos (la derecha) con marcador coloque una "m" y en la otra (la izquierda) las vocales en cada dedo, cada una en un color de marcador vistoso, de esta manera iba moviendo mis dedos seleccionando la vocal que acompañaba a la letra "m" de manera ordenada: ma-me-mi-mo-mu y luego sin ningún orden en específico mo-me-mu-mi-ma y de esta manera repetidas veces, hasta que estuviera clara y aprendida cada sílaba con inicial de "m".

Learning to read involves a very intense support system where there must be others; example: mommy, daddy, older siblings who know how to read, grandparents, among others; as well as early education teachers to have greater focus on this.
We must learn to be creative and stimulate the love of reading through varieties of strategies that manage to capture the attention of children and awaken their interest in reading.
At the beginning of our little ones' steps in reading, they begin to read mechanically, then expressively, and over time we will see progress in a comprehensive way.

Aprender a leer es sin duda ir afinando los mecanismos de diálogo con cada uno de los textos que lleguen a las manos de nuestros hijos; lo cual, construye sentidos vitales y de índole transformador en cada individuo, contiene el sustrato básico, los nutrientes necesarios para que puedan desarrollarse mediante alternativas ricas y diversas para su crecimiento como lector.
La alfabetización inicial es un proceso mediante el cual los niños y niñas aprenden a construir conceptos sobre las funciones de los signos (letras y números) y de todo material impreso que le rodee.
La lectura y escritura ha de ser un continuo seguimiento de nosotros como padres; por ello, debemos organizar situaciones sistemáticas de enseñanza; enseñando las letras y sus sonidos. Leerles cuentos y contarles historias que contribuyan con el aprendizaje.
Aprender a leer involucra un muy intenso sistema de apoyo donde deben haber otros; ejemplo: mami, papi, hermanos ya mayores que sepan leer, abuelos, entre otros; así como los docentes de educación inicial tener mayor enfoque en esto.
Debemos aprender a ser creativos y estimular el gusto por la lectura mediante variedades de estrategias que logren captar la atención de los pequeños y despertar el interés por leer.
Al inicio de los pasos de nuestros pequeños en la lectura comienzan a leer de forma mecánica, luego expresiva y con el tiempo veremos avances de manera comprensiva.
