Ha llegado la semana 119 de este concurso espectacular, que nos invita y motiva a seguir produciendo música para esta blockchain y para el internet entero.
Este ciclo de tres rondas las planifiqué con mi hijo para hacerlas juntos. Admito que se emocionó mucho al ver todo el talento que convive y hace vida en esta comunidad, que él mismo dio un paso al frente y quiso aportar con su talento. Yo también quiero que se desenvuelva dentro de este mundo, el cual es un ambiente sano y productivo, y a su vez poner en sus manos una herramienta con la que pueda generar algún ingreso que lo pueda ayudar para enfrentar sus cosas.
El cuatro venezolano es un instrumento muy folclórico, que revive, solo con verlo, todas esas canciones representativas de nuestro país. Por esa razón, cuando se está aprendiendo a tocar este instrumento, son esas canciones las que primero nos enseñan y las que nosotros mismos buscamos tocar. Y mi hijo es muy nacionalista, le encanta todo lo que tenga que ver con la historia de Venezuela y sus tradiciones.
Por tal motivo, lo escuché hace días en su cuarto aprendiendo esta canción del maestro Simón Díaz, "Caballo Viejo". Un tema superreconocido mundialmente, con una letra que expresa de forma metafórica como es la evolución del ser humano, la forma de vivir, los sentimientos e instintos naturales que habitan en nosotros. Una de las letras de canciones más densa y hermosa que podemos encontrar.
Así que no dudé en invitarlo a participar en esta semana con esta canción, de tal forma que agarre confianza y desarrolle esa habilidad que todo músico ve despertar al someterse a un ambiente de presión ante público que escuche, aprecie y critique tu trabajo. Son estas situaciones las que te van formando en este bello arte.

And my son is very nationalistic, he loves everything related to the history of Venezuela and its traditions.
