Alive and Thriving 02.16.25, The Egret and the Willet "

So friends, actually on Friday I took a bike ride over to the Park. I was pumping up my #actifit step-count and I know no faster way!
As I was entering the Park at the lower Parking area I saw this pair - "the Egret and the Willet". I have seen these two here before - sporadically I must admit, and they seem to be good friends!
This is the Egret when I first rode up,

And here is the Willet, they both seem to be a little chilly in the wind,

Here they are watching each other, probably to see if one or the other is spooked by my presence,

At this point they have remembered they have seen me before and have gone back to fishing for dinner!

In this photo they are showing me they have each other's backs,

I couldn't resist so I enlarged it,

And the Willet ducked behind a rock and left his buddy the Egret,

Just as I was getting ready to leave this Pelican flew past,

I enlarged it, it came out a bit "fuzzy" but you can see it's a Pelican,

That was it for my # aliveandthriving Sunday (Friday)!
