One of the interesting things and facts about this equipment I like the most and amazes and also surprise me is its ability and capacity to perform a dynamic and multifunctional task. Over a few ago decades laboratory medicine and science has not been able to come up with any of such equipment to aid laboratory diagnostic work. Having a microscope is of good importance in any medical or health facility or private laboratory to help in identification of micro-organism and bacteria that cannot be seen with the naked eyes except with the use of the microscope. "Hmmm What a mystery". In Fact there are different types of microscope in circulation nowadays depending on the one you prefer to use or buy either for use in a rural or urban area which I wouldn't want to go into details on.

NB: A person who uses the microscope or is an expert in using the microscope is known as a Microscopist.

However, one of the things I like most about using this equipment is the fact that I am able to view different parasites in blood samples, urine samples, sputum samples, stool samples, swabs samples, and many more others. However, example of these parasites that can be seen in all of these specimens are such as: Plasmodium species in blood sample, schistosoma species in urine sample in the suspected cases of schistosomiasis, westermani paragonimus specie in sputum sample, cyst of Entamoeba Histolytica in a preferable freshly provided stool sample and maybe plenty pus cells, bacteria cells, yeast and epithelial cells in High Vaginal Swab wet preparation microscopy sample.

Another intriguing fact I like most about this equipment is the fact that one can use it for Full or rather Complete Blood Count And Differential Count as some will have it say to diagnose a patient with signs and symptoms of sepsis such as high level of White blood cells, Hypochromia, Target cells, Anisocytosis, Poikilocytosis, Sickle Cells, Macro or Microcytic red blood cells and many more abnormal blood parameters. That's why I feel the use of this particular equipment in laboratory medicine cannot be overemphasized and explained in this post alone and thanks to science and medicine for bringing such amazing equipment to help alleviate and cushion the effort made before in ancient days when it was not available.

God bless all our Medical Professionals out there in the frontier dedicating and pouring out their life's and paying the sacrifice to save and better human life.
