Everything was back to normal now that our water was restored last weekend. A week without it was indeed heelish, especially for someone like me who had a baby. I was thankful that my in-laws were nice to me as they would fetch water from the station with a supply. I would wake up the other day seeing the barrel in the full comfort room. The only problem was washing the feeding bottles. The idea of I will be getting the water from the C.R. wasn't lovely at all. So, I resorted to using purified mineral water.
Also, not to mention that babies intend to change clothes twice or more per day. What to do with my pile of laundry? 😕 If someone would remember, I stopped buying him clothes as he grew fast. So, after almost a week, only a few were left in his cabinet.
It's a good thing the water isn't a problem in my sister-in-law's house, so I could wash it there. The question is, how?
Okay, Les, prepare your things. I'll drive you there, my brother-in-law says. Indeed, a lifesaver!
Of course, I bring my son and his stroller. That would be too much if I will let sister in law babysit him 😆. I am not that thick of a face, LOL.
The aftermath of Kristine, poor bananas, and the owner. No more money is possible to generate from fruits.
It took me three hours before I was done, three loads of 55 minutes each. After, another brother-in-law drove me home using an e-bike.
That happened last week, and I suppose I am at peace now, but nope. A week ago, my baby stopped latching directly. This causes me to have a low supply of breastmilk. Adding three days of no electricity, I wasn't able to pump! Imagine pumping for 30 minutes in both breasts and having only 1oz!
So, I decided to stop and focus on giving him formula milk. Not sure if it was because of that, but he kept on pooping 😣. Not LBM, but a maximum of four or three per day! For a first-time MOM, I am already worried. I contacted his Pedia secretary to book an appointment, but the Doctor is currently out of the country! I will be back on Saturday, four days from now!
He looks fine, though, as the only change in his routine was the frequency of poop, but, oh no, I am still anxious.
His milk was still the same, and I even went out the other day to purchase it. I guess I should try my best again to produce milk, pumping every three hours. Maybe that is one reason.
By the way, this is my first time seeing a rainbow again in years! I captured this while sitting on the porch soothing a grumpy baby.
Thanks for stopping by.
