Sometimes, action film directors, caught up in the adrenaline-pumping and fast-paced development of scenes, underestimate the screenplay, thus giving the film excellent sequences but weak dialogues.
This is exactly what happens in this film: the dialogues do not shine, although they are acceptable and supported by excellent scenes.
Without going into the plot because you might not have seen it yet, 'Beekeeper' is an excellent action film with a good, believable, current, and convincing plot;

Adam Clay, played by Jason Statham, is a reclusive man who takes care of bees; and he is also a member of an elite unit of combat-trained operatives called 'beekeepers'.
The name of the organization was not chosen randomly: just as beekeepers protect and keep their bees healthy, so the Beekeepers protect society.

In this film, Jason Statham reminds me of a modern-day Robin Hood who fights against injustices, protects the defenseless, battling against a powerful swindler who has set up a corrupt organization harming many people.
And he, with his physicality and skill in martial arts, through punches and strategies, acts for the common good guided by a moral code that places him on the side of the just, even at the cost of becoming an outlaw.
Statham, with his adrenaline-fueled performance, brings to the screen a character who, while rooted in contemporary reality, embodies the avenging hero we all admire.
For action lovers, it's a must-watch film.
